Packmaster Shy’Ek Fusion Guide

Welcome to our Packmaster Shy’ek Fusion Guide, where we’ll provide you with all of the information necessary to complete this year’s Raid: Shadow Legends July Fusion.

This Fusion is a Fragment Fusion, meaning you need to collect Fusion Champion Fragments by earning them from various Tournaments and Events, before Summoning them from the Summoning Portal.

Be sure to check back daily to see our breakdown of how many points you will require for each event and the best way to earn them.

Packmaster Shy’ek Fusion Type: Fragment

There are three types of fusion events – Traditional, Fragment and Hybrid. Packmaster Shy’ek will be a Fragment Collector Fusion, which means unlike a Traditional Fusion, we do not need to collect any other Champions to fuse him. Instead, we will be collecting Fragments by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments.

Once you’ve completed enough Events and Tournaments to acquire 100 Fragments, you may Summon Packmaster Shy’ek from the Summoning Portal.

One of the best parts about Fragment Collector Fusions is there is no time limit on claiming your Legendary Champion meaning you can hold on to them for points in an upcoming Clan vs Clan or Champion Chase Tournament for a big drop of points!

Packmaster Shy’ek Skills:

Packmaster Shy’ek Fusion Events:

As part of the Packmaster Shy’ek Fusion, we will have 2 summoning events in the Fusion Schedule, one Summon Rush and one Champion Chase Tournament.

  • Thursday 4th July – Summon Rush
  • Friday 12th July – Champion Chase

With Super-Raids now being a permanent Feature in Dungeons, Plarium used to enable them specially for Fusions, however, this time around we’ve got a different treat:

  • On Thursday, July 4th, there’s a x2 drop event for Cursed Artifact Sets at Ice Golem’s Peak.
  • On Sunday, July 7th, there’s a x2 drop event for Savage Artifact Sets at Fire Knight’s Castle.
  • On Thursday, July 11th, there’s a x2 drop event for Speed Artifact Sets at Dragon’s Lair.
  • On Sunday, July 14th, there’s a x2 drop event for Orc Faction Accessories at Spider’s Den.

These boosts will coincide with their respective Dungeon Tournament throughout the Fusion Event!

Finally, As this Fusion contains a Summon Rush Event, you will need to plan ahead to determine if you can achieve this. We don’t know the exact point requirements for the summon rush so far but you will need to be prepared. Use our summon rush calculator below to see how many points you can currently earn.

Day 1 (July 4th):

New Events:

  • Ice Golem Tournament – 2250 Points – 5 Fragments

You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. Running Stage 20 Normal is the most energy-efficient route when it comes to fusion tournaments (unlike turn attack tournaments which require a high stage). These rates are an average assessment therefore some of you may high roll or low roll your gear requiring slightly less or slightly more runs.

  • Summon Rush – 2350/3200 points – 15 Fragments

Next up we have the Summon Rush Event! It’s time to pull some Shards for a chance at some new Legendary Champions that specialise in [Block Debuffs] during the accompanying Progressive Summon that’s running alongside this Fusion.  You can view our full breakdown of the Event that is running this weekend in our Progressive Summon article, and do note we also have a guaranteed Legendary Champion Summon Event from Ancient Shards for Shemnath.

  • Champion Training Event  – 3100/6100 points – 10 Fragments

As for the Champion Training Tournament; to maximize your points in this Event, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the Event.

Unlike Champion Training Events, it is important to note that you can get a bulk of points from using Skill Tomes on your Champions, however, these may be best saved for things such as Clan vs Clan to help lead your clan to victory, but in the situation that these overlap, it can be a great source of easy points!

For further information on how to best complete these events efficiently, be sure to check out our Champion Upgrade Guide.

Day 2 (July 5th):

New Events:

  • Classic Arena Takedown I – 390 Points – 5 Fragments

The classic Arena takedown should be relatively straightforward if you are able to fight and win at least half of your daily tokens. At Gold 5 you need to win 30 fights over 72 hours to claim the Fragments. This will scale lower so pay attention but if you are lower in your account level then your point requirements should scale with your Arena rank.

  • Dungeon Divers Event I – 3700 points – 5 Fragments

The first Dungeon Divers Event of the Fusion is now underway. This event is running alongside the x2 drop event for Cursed Artifact Sets at Ice Golem Peak. To earn the required points for the Fragments, you’ll need roughly 304 runs of Stage 20 normal dungeons. This will cost you around 4,864 energy or around 273 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 5,460 energy.

Day 3 (July 6th):

New Events:

Artifact Enhancement Event

Today, we have an Artifact Enhancement Event, where you’ll need 4775 points. Here are some efficient methods to save silver while achieving this:

    1. If you previously upgraded your gear to levels 7, 11, or 15, spend silver to increase each piece by one level for quick and easy points.
    2. Another effective approach is to clear out your gear inventory. Upgrade items you may want to keep to observe their stats and sell those you don’t need. Refer to this helpful guide for more information.

Day 4 (July 7th):

New Events:

Fire Knight Tournament

To get the required 2250 points from the Fire Knight Tournament, you’ll need to run Stage 20 around 140 times, which will use roughly 2250 Energy.

This assumes the worst possible drop rate for 5-star gear, however. If you get decent drop rates for high-end Artifacts, the amount of runs you need to make will be reduced. Tackling Fire Knight in Hard Mode should push your number of runs down even further, as you can also get Mythical Artifacts for bigger points boosts.

Day 6 (July 9th):

New Events:

Dungeon Divers Event

So commences another dungeon diver event. As with most dungeon divers, you require 3700 points to claim the Fragments from this Event. This calculates on average to 304 runs of Stage 20 normal dungeons. This will cost you around 4,864 energy or around 273 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 5,460 energy.

Another thing that’s worth noting, is this Event also contains Prism Crystals for the active Summon Event which you can find more about in our designated post.

Day 7 (July 10th):

New Events:

Champion Training Tournament

For the Champion Training Tournament we require 3,350/6,350 Points to acquire a total of 10 Fragments; to maximize your points in this Event, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food.

You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. Day 9 (July 12th):

New Events:

Champion Chase Tournament

The Champion Chase Tournament has just begun, and has launched alongside a 2x Sacred Shard and 10x Summons Event, so it’s time to decide whether or not to pull your shards.

It’s worth mentioning that unlike Summon Rush Events, points can be acquired for Champion Chase Tournaments through other means than pulling shards, whether that be summoning a past Fragment Champion that you’ve been sitting on, or even collecting uncommon champions from Campaign or the Market, any Champions obtained during this tournament will give you points.

Day 10 (July 13th):

New Events:

Dungeon Divers Event

It’s time for the FINAL Dungeon Diver events. You require 3700 points to claim the set of Fragments. This calculates on average to 304 runs of Stage 20 normal dungeons. This will cost you around 4,864 energy or around 273 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 5,460 energy.

Day 11 (July 14th):

New Events:

Spider Tournament

You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. These rates are an average assessment therefore some of you may high roll or low roll your gear requiring slightly less or slightly more runs.

Artifact Enhancement Event

Artifact Enhancement can be done in two ways: you can gear cleanse to the points or you can upgrade pieces to rank 16.

Gear Cleansing Route

If you have a number of artifacts on level 1, an efficient way to claim the rare Champion is to upgrade Artifacts to level 8 or 12 and then sell the items for silver. This still remains a negative silver gain but it’s far less punishing than upgrading Artifacts to level 16. You may choose to keep some good pieces (a bonus!). This route might take only 10-15 million silver to complete the event.

Gear Upgrading Route

If you are looking to complete some Champion builds, then Level 16 artifacts are important to maximise their potential. We highly recommend you prioritise Artifacts instead of upgrading Accessories as this will be significantly less silver to complete the event. This route will take you approximately 20 million silver to complete.

Found two mistakes on the page:

  1. A2: Pack Alpha skill has a 5 turn cooldown which can be booked to 3
  2. This time ancient shards give you 40 point each and not 20, you should update the “Summon Rush Calculator”

Thanks these were fixed a couple of hours after the fusion started.
