Plarium and the team at Raid Shadow Legends have just announced the latest weekend summoning event that will be running in the game. As predicted this weekend we will see a 10x summoning event, however, this will also include a guaranteed champion pull for Fortus from void shards if you decide to pull 80 shards in the event.

Here is what we know:

We’re planning to launch a few events simultaneously this week:

(1) This Friday, October 21st, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon the following Champions from Ancient, Sacred, and Void Shards

Krisk the Ageless
Keeyra the Watcher
Sniktraak
Kyoku
Andryssia
Toragi the Frog
Skullcrusher
Miscreated Monster

(2) And also, we’re planning to launch a Guaranteed Champion event simultaneously with the x10 event.

Summon Champions using Void Shards while the event is active, and you are guaranteed to get Fortus by your 80th Void Shard

Remember, if you do happen to summon Fortus before your 80th Void Shard, your event will end.

What are your thoughts on this event?  Will you be pulling shards for the 100% Fortus? Let us know in the comments below…

i’m so disappointed with this guaranteed champion. I expected an ancient/sacred one. Also fortus doesn’t seem good

Once again we are saddled with a new champion with broken mechanics. Fortus’ A3 is flat out broken/underwhelming. Ukko’s passive was not all that it was purported to be, although he is still very useful. Lonatharil’s A1 shield overwrites his unkillable one, but despite that, I’ve gotten very good utility out of him. Lonny has stared down a Vergis, shredding Vergis MaxHP down to 1/3-to-1/4 and then downed him with a Finest Hour/Flicker Barrier combo, using his Passive for more damage. Lonny, by far, has the most eHP on my account, and it’s not even close.

Now that Raid: Shadow Legends is inching slowly towards Path of Exile in complexity, they REALLY need a QA team for testing before sending product out.

Lonatharil still trash tho, Vergis is fairly easy to beat in pve and terrible in pvp.

I mean Krisk is the dream obviously, but we all know how 10X events go. The odds of getting any legendary from a void are abysmal and even with 10X, the odds of that legendary being the one you want are extremely low. Not to mention, 10X is 10 times what exactly? Intuitively one would think that the odds of getting any particular legendary champion from a shard are the same. So if there are 50 void legendary champs and you pull one, you have a 1 in 50 chance of it being a God tier lego and of course 10x would mean a 10 in 50 chance or 1 in 5. Well that seems reasonable, but I’ve pulled enough shards and seen enough pulled on streams that I am HIGHLY skeptical that all things are equal. I think God tier champs have a lower base rate of being summoned. I think it is also likely that Plarium has algorithms that adjust that rate based on the players account/spending habits. Can I prove any of this? Nah, but I ain’t pullin that’s for sure.

it may be true, some champion are in 10x more often than others. Krisk was in the last 10x too. If rates are different? it would be a very infamous move from plarium

Make it Acrizia, then I’ll stop hoarding my void shards.

Wow, 80 void shards. I don’t think so.

EIGHTY VOID SHARDS for an untested champ who “may very well end up with Fortus being a useless champion”? No thanks. In the past, even the “PVP” champs were somewhat useful in PVE, but with this guy depending on fear he is 100% useless against any boss anywhere. I mean, I’m not looking forward to fighting solid fear teams with him in the arena, but 80 is about 60 too much. Plarium seems to be dramatically out of touch with it’s player base.

He’s worse in pvp than pve lol

If this turns out to be the only “Halloween champion” this year, I’m going to be ticked off. Halloween champs are the best! maybe not the ‘actual’ best, but definitely on my A list and for sure the most fun. I look forward to it every year. Now it looks like we got a stinker in Maranix, a pvp-only, whale-only meh champ, a broken ‘spin the wheel’ gimmick, and likely a ‘burn your energy for chances at trash’ card event. Severely underwhelmed here.

Also, there are certain named characters that I’m all for alluding to in RAID, but you gotta do so with some respect. If you’re going to drop in Cthulhu he damn sure better be a god!

I hate Fortus. Imo the worst leggo in the game, and even after his fix (which we very likely know what it’s gonna be thanks to reading the game code) he still won’t be good.
