Raid Weekly Recap 6
Welcome to our sixth Raid Weekly Recap – Where we will break down all of the happenings in RAID: Shadow Legends from this week!
So sit back, and enjoy this week’s instalment of the Raid Weekly Recap!
RAID Shadow Legends is entering it’s SEVENTH calendar year of existence as the calendar turns over to 2024!
It entered beta phases in 2018, and released fully to the public in 2019, now here we are in 2024.
The last week was mostly pretty chill because of the holidays going on, but we expect things to ramp up as we head into January kicking off.
Holiday Fusion comes to a close
This year’s holiday fusion champion, Blizaar the Howler, has concluded. This was not a very hyped fusion event at least as of right now, with the final polling that about 20% of the RAID player base was dedicated to caring about finishing the holiday fusion events.
Usually, Plarium does champion events about once a month, so we expect there to be a teaser and test server for the next event champion within 10-15 days.
2023 Creator Roundup Videos
Plarium officially plugged a section in-game where many different content creators in the community shared their thoughts on the ups and downs of 2023. You can see the full playlist of these creator videos HERE. We also have a post that fully summarizes RAID’s year of 2023 which we published recently that you can view HERE.
Free to play Competition coming soon!
HH Gaming is working on doing another F2P competition this year in honor of the new year! We had a lot of fun hosting one last year complete with leaderboards that people can follow on our website. This year we’re considering doing more of a friend / team format, and a more defined duration like 2 months or so. HellHades has a video talking about this in more detail that you can view HERE.
Primal Shard 2x Events
With Primal Shards being very new to the game, they have not yet been part of the normal 2x rotations that Ancients, Sacreds, and Voids get on a 6 week consistent schedule. We’ve been seeing Primal Shards get added in sporadically to these 2x bonuses. Something to keep in mind if you want to save these Primal Shards for the most opportune time to pull them.
Gwyndolin the Silent – Deck of Fates
There was a holiday themed Deck of Fate event featuring an opportunity to acquire Gwyndolin the Silent if players were able to flip enough cards to get the 100 fragments required to summon her.
If you were able to acquire her from this event, she is a very solid utility damage dealer who can extend debuffs, debuff enemies, buff allies, and scale up to deal good damage.
RAID SHADOW LEGENDS HITTING STEAM SOON!
As of January 9th of 2024, RAID Shadow Legends will be officially supported on Steam. Plarium is providing incentive to go on Steam and wishlist RAID with the following milestone rewards:
- 25,000 Players = 500k Silver
- 50,000 Players = 1 Epic Skill Tome + 500k Silver
- 75,000 Players = 500 Energy + 1 Epic Skill Tome + 500k Silver
- 100,000 Players = 1 XP Barrel + 500 Energy + 1 Epic Skill Tome + 500k Silver
This is a trend becoming more common in the mobile RPG genre, as we’ve seen games like Dragonheir: Silent Gods launch with Steam support. If you would like to Steam Wishlist towards these milestone rewards, THIS LINK will take you to RAID’s Steam Page.
