Xena: Warrior Princess Overview

Xena is a high impact Arena nuker who becomes stronger the more buffs enemies have. She ignores portions of defence, can reset her A3 when she kills multiple enemies, and heavily punishes buff heavy teams. Her passive ramps her attack up to 100% over a round, greatly reduces weak hit issues, and lets her steal turn meter without needing accuracy. While designed for Arena, her scaling damage also makes her effective against bosses.

As she swings her sword on the road to redemption, Xena will make a great addition to your squads to tackle various encounters. Her skills revolve around nuking enemies in the Arena, however they coincide with a passive that scales her ATK% over a round [Up to 100%], therefore becoming a menace to slay bosses such as the Demon Lord. Although this champion grants two active skills that inflict AOE damage, all of the skills revolve around Ignore Defence, where the amount ignored rises according to the buffs your enemies have.

Opening with the Chakram Cyclone [A2], she will ignore 5% of the target’s Defence for every buff active, followed by a 20% Turn Meter Steal that becomes non – resistible when the target is under 2 or more Buffs/Debuffs. Whether your facing a buff heavy squad, or simply Debuffing the enemies you face, this opens the opportunity to invest more damage in to your builds without focusing on Accuracy. If you pair her in the right synergies to always have Debuffs active, she can be a strong candidate for bosses such as The Dark Fae to not only kill your mirror copy’s, but supporting in manipulating the Turn Meter.

Leading in to the Whip Of Destiny [A3], she will ignore 10% of the targets defence for each buff, however this time will reset the cooldown of this skill if killing 2 or more enemies. This can be devastating in Arena to cycle this nuke without the need for reset champions such as Prince Kymar or Yumeko.

As mentioned prior, Xena has a unique Passive Effect to not only scale her ATK% which resets each round [Stacks up to 100%], but also grants a 50% chance to change weak hits to normal, strong, or critical hits [Which increases to 100% when enemies have 2 or more Buffs/Debuffs]. This can be extremely valuable in weak affinity situations without the need for gear sets such as Affinity Breaker artefacts! The scaling of damage will also be great for longer battle encounters.. so lets watch the Demon Lord feel the wrath of her sword!

Last but not least, Xena will boost her Turn Meter by 100%, and places a 50% Increase Attack buff on herself whenever 8 or more buffs are placed on enemies in a single turn. This is unique as even when out sped, she can punish your foe for buffing themselves, leading in to a deadly blow from a skill of your choice.

Arena Roles

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
