The Ultimate Epics For Hard Faction Wars – Knights Revenant!

Hard Faction Wars has arrived in Teleria for those who have already claimed Lydia the Deathsiren as the ultimate reward for 3-starring all the stages in Normal difficulty. Now, the quest continues for the latest Faction Wars reward, Polara Fireheart – a Mythical champion from the Sacred Order. Along the way, you’ll earn some impressive milestone rewards as you push through these new stages. In this series of articles, we’ll be spotlighting some of the MVP Epic champions you should consider for each faction.

This new Hard Mode adds extra challenges to earn those 3-star clears: 1 star for simply completing the stage, 2 stars for finishing with 5 champions without losing anyone, and a final 3rd star for completing the unique stage condition. The Epics we’re featuring here range from top-tier powerhouses to those who fill a niche role – sometimes perfectly suited for tackling specific stage conditions, and sometimes offering broad utility that can cover multiple requirements.

You’ll also come across a stage that requires you to beat it using at least 3 Epic champions – so even if you have Meta Legendaries for most stages, these Epics will still find a place in your team for that challenge. Let’s dive into some of the best Epic champions from the Knights Revenant!

Dawncaller Sabitha

Although she doesn’t directly enable the stage conditions, Sabitha is a simple yet highly effective support option. Like the other Epics mentioned, she’s naturally a great fit for Stage 10 which requires at least three Epic champions, but also other stages. Her ability to place Increase Defence and Increase Attack gives your team a strong balance of offensive & defensive support, while her revive not only brings an ally back but also protects them with Block Damage. On top of that, she can reduce the cooldown of one of the revived ally’s skills, letting them return to their strongest abilities even faster.

Rector Drath

If you’re short on defensive support, Rector is a fantastic healer and reviver to bring in. Best known for her strength in Hydra, she still offers huge value here by healing all allies for 20% of their max HP, then applying Perfect Veil to those at full health or Continuous Heal to anyone who isn’t. Her passive adds even more sustain, triggering extra healing whenever allies under Veil or Perfect Veil take a turn, while also boosting their RES by 50 to help resist debuffs. When reviving, she brings an ally back under Perfect Veil, protecting them from single-target attacks and reducing the AOE damage they take.

Miscreated Monster

This Epic has long proven his value as a durable support and control champion, continuing to perform well against PvE waves. On Stages 2 and 12, where Stuns are required, his A2 provides a 50% chance to Stun while also shielding allies based on the damage dealt. His A1 can also Stun, though it’s best to apply Decrease DEF first to improve its chances. As for team support, he places Ally Protection on the team and sustains himself with a 50% Heal and Continuous Heal to recover from the damage he absorbs. His passive adds even more control, placing Fear on enemies that attack allies under his protection.

Thylessia

This champion can be effective across many stages, though she may need enough support to stay alive as an attack based champion. She applies Decrease DEF to all enemies, boosting your team’s damage, and passively has a 50% chance to place Hex on targets she hits under it – very useful for Stage 5. Thylessia also extends debuff durations, making her great for Stage 13, while her A1 can spread a random debuff to all enemies under Hex. Overall, she offers a strong mix of offensive support and respectable damage.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

Skullcrown & Sinesha

These champions bring a strong mix of damage, utility, and flexibility when built in the right sets for stage conditions. Both have an AOE A1, making them ideal candidates for Stun or Provoke sets to provide crowd control while also assisting with the requirements of stages 2, 3, 8, and 12.

Skullcrown focuses on offense, placing Weaken on enemies, hitting twice with her A1 against targets above 50% HP, gaining Unkillable when her HP drops low, and even self-reviving when paired with Sinesha.

Sinesha complements her perfectly, adding an extra A1 hit against enemies under 50% HP to chain with Skullcrown’s attacks, equalizing the team’s HP for sustain, and placing a target’s skills on cooldown – especially useful for Stage 9.

Malkith Bloodflock

If you need a reliable reviver, Malkith can bring back two random allies with 30% HP and Turn Meter. While these values are on the lower side, he adds a 30% Shield to them for extra protection. Beyond revival, he contributes to Stage 13’s condition of manipulating buff and debuff durations, and his kit also helps reduce enemy buffs to help with encounters like Stage 11.

This utility comes from his A2, which extends ally buffs while reducing enemy buff durations by 1 turn – perfect for buff-heavy fights, keeping your team’s effects active longer while reducing the enemy’s.

Doompriest

Doompriest is as straightforward as they come, but highly effective thanks to her passive. Each time she takes a turn, she removes a random debuff from all allies and heals them by 7.5% of their HP. In a Relentless set, she can cycle turns more frequently, making her especially valuable against enemies that constantly apply debuffs. Beyond her passive, she also provides Increase Attack to boost your team’s damage.

Golden Reaper

This champion has been overlooked for a long time, but she brings excellent utility for both speed control and damage mitigation. Her A3 boosts all allies with Increase Speed and a 20% Turn Meter fill – great for Stage 6, which requires Turn Meter manipulation, and generally strong for helping your team cycle turns faster.

She also brings a 75% chance to place Decrease Attack on enemies, which converts into a 20% Turn Meter reduction if it doesn’t land, making it useful for both reducing incoming damage and pushing enemies back. On top of that, her A1 can decrease the cooldown of a random ally’s skills, giving extra support for stages like 4 and 9.

Whisper

She’s renowned as one of the best Epic boss slayers in the game, excelling at deleting single targets. To maximize her damage, make sure Decrease DEF and Weaken are on the enemy before she takes her turn – this not only triggers the extra turn on her A3 but also lets her A2 ignore full DEF thanks to Weaken setup. Whisper can also self-buff with Increase ATK and Increase C. Rate if her target has higher Max HP, further boosting her output.

Overall, she’s a powerful single-target DPS with the potential to chain extra turns through her A3 and passive. Just be sure she’s backed by enough support or crowd control, as she’s quite fragile. If kept alive, she’s also excellent for melting through boss stages.
