The Ultimate Epics For Hard Faction Wars – Orcs!
Hard Faction Wars has arrived in Teleria for those who have already claimed Lydia the Deathsiren as the ultimate reward for 3-starring all the stages in Normal difficulty. Now, the quest continues for the latest Faction Wars reward, Polara Fireheart – a Mythical champion from the Sacred Order. Along the way, you'll earn some impressive milestone rewards as you push through these new stages. In this series of articles, we'll be spotlighting some of the MVP Epic champions you should consider for each faction.
This new Hard Mode adds extra challenges to earn those 3-star clears: 1 star for simply completing the stage, 2 stars for finishing with 5 champions without losing anyone, and a final 3rd star for completing the unique stage condition. The Epics we're featuring here range from top-tier powerhouses to those who fill a niche role – sometimes perfectly suited for tackling specific stage conditions, and sometimes offering broad utility that can cover multiple requirements.
You'll also come across a stage that requires you to beat it using at least 3 Epic champions – so even if you have Meta Legendaries for most stages, these Epics will still find a place in your team for that challenge. Let's dive into some of the best Epic champions from the Orcs!
Most Valuable Players

If you're in need of strong support and revives, Tagoar is a solid option. His revival comes through the A3, bringing back all allies with 30% HP and a Shield for added protection, while his passive helps reduce the damage allies take when they're below 50% HP. He also provides an AOE Increase Speed buff to help the team cycle turns faster, along with a heal to keep HP sustained. A simple yet highly effective champion for consistent support across the stages.
Seer's Karma Burn ability has stood the test of time as one of the best wave clearing skills in the game. This applies to Faction Wars as well, helping you take down tough waves, especially when supported with a solid number of buffs to boost the damage. The ability is also great for enabling the 3 star conditions for stage 3 by reducing enemies HP by 50% with a single skill, stage 11 where enemies must be defeated with no buffs on them, and potentially stage 16 if you can trigger the skill before enemies take a turn.
One of the main reasons players favour Stag Knight in the Banner Lords is his ability to bring both Decrease Attack and Decrease Defence – and this Epic offers that same valuable combo. The only condition is building him with 100% Crit Rate to ensure the Decrease Defence lands. He also provides crowd control by placing a single target Provoke – and then placing it on two random enemies, adding an extra layer of wave control and helping meet the Provoke conditions for stages 1 and 8. Definitely a champion worth considering for Faction Wars!
Like Tagoar, this Epic also offers revival support for your team, though in his case, it comes through reviving 2 random allies with 60% HP, a 40% Turn Meter boost, and a Perfect Veil buff to reduce the damage they receive from AOE attacks and prevent them from being targeted by single-target skills – giving them a better chance to rejoin the fight. He also brings Increase Attack and a 20% Turn Meter fill on his A2, helping your team cycle turns faster while enhancing their damage. A well rounded champion who brings reliable offensive and defensive support!
HONOURABLE MENTIONS
Sandlashed Survivor
Stage 12 requires you to manipulate buff or debuff durations 20+ times to meet the 3 star condition. Sandlashed Survivors stands out as an MVP for this, thanks to her A3, which simultaneously decreases enemy buff durations and increases those on your allies. Just a couple of cycles of this skill can quickly reach the Stage 12 requirement. She also brings utility through her A1, which has a chance to Provoke for some crowd control, and her passive automatically applies Ally Protection to an ally who drops below 50% HP while placing Block Damage on herself for survivability.
Zargala
If you're lacking Decrease Defence in your team, Zargala is a classic Epic who can help fill that gap. Her A3 is a triple hit attack that places Decrease Defence, though it comes with a 4-turn cooldown. She also brings a single target nuke on her A2, which, if it kills the target, will immediately trigger her A3 again – offering an extra wave of damage and another shot at applying the debuff.
Vrask
This champion's utility is straightforward but effective if you're looking for consistent healing across your team. To frequently trigger his passive, he must be built with 100% Critical Rate – this enables him to heal all allies by 10% of his max HP with every critical hit. It's a simple condition that provides reliable team-wide healing every time he attacks. His A1 also boosts his own Turn Meter on crits, helping him cycle through turns faster and keep the healing coming.
Liburga
The main drawback of this champion is the significant time investment required to acquire her, as she's the eighth reward from collecting fragments in the Normal Doom Tower secret rooms. However, she earns an honorable mention thanks to her A3, which places both Increase Defence and Increase Attack on all allies. This buff combination is valuable for boosting the output of both attack and defence based damage dealers, while also improving team survivability. Beyond that, she's a single target poisoner who can extend poison durations when hit. While not a top tier champion, she can certainly fill a gap in teams that lack the buffs she provides.
