Versulf The Grim Fusion Guide

Versulf the Grim is a Legendary champion, from the Knight’s Revenant Faction.
Versulf will be collected by gathering 100 fragments for him from events over the following weeks.

Type: HP
Affinity: Force

He is a HP-based champion that can really bring the pain! He will be best paired with a CC champion to enable him to hit twice with his AOE which hits harder than Sir Nick – making him the STRONGEST HP-based nuker in the entire game.

He is particularly useful for certain Doom Tower bosses because of the utility in his kit providing an A1 provoke for Magma Dragon and self-shielding which makes him an option for the Scarab King!

A1 – Stern Admonishing

Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. Also places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns equal to 10% to their MAX HP.

A2 – Reign of Sorrow – Cooldown: 4 Turns

Attacks all enemies. Places an extra hit on enemies under [Stun], [Freeze], [Fear], [True Fear], and [Provoke] debuffs. Each hit has a 75% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff for 2 turns.

Quality Minions – Cooldown: 5 Turns

Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Also places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns.

Infectious Fury [P]
When hit, has a 20% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn. Occurs once per hit.

Aura

Increases Ally HP In All Battles by 33%

Day 1:

New Events:
Summon Rush – 10 Fragments – 1070/2150 points
Spider Tournament – 5 Fragments – 1525 points

To complete the Spider Tournament to get the Fragments, you will need to do around 95 runs of stage 20 Spider, assuming the worst possible luck, which will be more than manageable for most! This also lines up with the end of the current Dungeon Divers event – so an additional chance to grab yourself some rewards!

The Summon Rush as always, will be a game of how many shards do you have? To earn the fragments you will need to accumulate 2150 points, this lines up VERY nicely with an incredible x10 event including Valkyrie, Sir Nick, and Altan amongst others.

Day 2:

New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event – 5 Fragments – 2000 Points

To complete the event with 2,000 points it will take 6x 6* items to level 16, Which will take a large amount of silver, usually, an event like this will consume anywhere between 10-20 million silver but this time the requirements are quite low!

This is a really good opportunity to do a good old gear clear-out, roll things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, sell things that you won’t want to keep.

Day 3:

New Events:
Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 280 Points

As always, for an arena tournament blast your arena tokens till your heart’s content, and a little bit more! Over 3 days this is very achievable, but just make sure to get your arena’s in and win as many as you can! (Don’t risk fights that you think you could lose!) Take full advantage of the bots currently and farm yourself some medals to improve that Great Hall!

Day 4:

New Events:
Champion Training Event – 15 Fragments – 3500/7150 Points

Champion Training Event is a rather standard point requirement and we do have 5 days to complete this! Make sure you’re focusing all energy into campaign when you can!

Make sure you are also leveling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.

Take this time to level up all of your food and 6 star some of the champions you’ve wanted to for a while!

Day 5:

New Events:
Dragon Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2050 Points

To complete this Dragon event, you will need to run roughly 129 Dragon 20 runs, based on the lowest potential drop of 5* Rare gear – This will vary and be significantly lower if you are lucky.

This event ties in with a “Drop Fever” on Speed gear! Meaning you have x2 the chance to get Speed gear drops from farming Dragon – This is an incredible event that proved to be very worthwhile last time! Good luck on the drops!

Day 6:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 5 Fragments – 1475 Points

To complete today’s event, continue to pump your energy into the Dragon Tournament while the x2 Speed event is active. This whole event is quite a low point requirement, with it being only 3800 points for a void shard, for those of you who are loading energy into Dragon for Speed gear – this one will be very very easy to complete.

Day 7:

New Events:

Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 280 Points

Champion Chase Tournament – 15 Fragments – 1150/2500 Points

Tips:
1150 points are required for the first fragments and 2500 for the second set.

For this, you will need to pull as many shards as you need. You can also do this with mystery shards for 1 point per shard, if you don’t have other shards to use during the event, but remember – champions from the market and campaign will also count towards these points, which can tie in nicely with Champion Training.

This does line up with Ancient 2x Event, so good luck on your pulls if you have saved any!

Day 9:

New Events:
Fire Knight’s Tournament – 1525 points – 5 Fragments

To finish Fire Knight and get yourself the fragments for Versulf, you will need to use roughly 1525 energy, (around 95 runs) of stage 20, based on the worst possible drop rates of only 5 star rare gear. Of course, they can change with better luck and may end up requiring significantly less. But nonetheless, good luck on drops :)

Day 11:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 15 Fragments – 1500/3400 points

Day 1 of dungeon divers will not link with any other events other than Clan vs Clan, but as of tomorrow it will line up with the Champion Training event, and Ice Golem tournament which is a great opportunity for you to double dip for rewards – for those of you who have completed all events so far without winning any Tournaments, you will be on 80/100 Fragments, meaning tomorrow you can get Versulf if you acquire 20 of the available 30 fragments in the next 2 days.

Day 12:

New Events:
Champion Training Tournament – 10 Fragments – 2600/5000 Points
Ice Golem Tournament – 5 Fragments – 1800 Points

Training Tips:
Getting points in a Champion Training Tournament is very similar to Champion Training Events, however, you can also gain points for ascending your Champions. This does line up with Clan vs Clan too and Dungeon Divers so a great time to double dip some rewards and help your clan out at the same time! Reaching 5000 points might be difficult for some, depending on how much of your food you used in the last event, but the 2600 points should be manageable – remember you can skip up to 20 fragments from the events and still manage the fusion.

For the Ice Golem Tournament, you will need to run around 112 runs of Ice Golem 20 – based on the worst possible gear rolls, of course this number may be significantly lower. While everyone loves spending time in Ice Golem, remember you may be able to skip this tedious event!

Day 13:

New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event – 5 Fragments – 2000 Points
Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 280 Points

To complete the event with 2,000 points it will take 6x 6* items to level 16 or 26x 6* items from 1-12, which will take a large amount of silver, usually, an event like this will consume anywhere between 10-20 million silver.
This is a really good opportunity to do a good old gear clear-out, roll things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, sell things that you won’t want to keep.

For Arena, as always use all of your daily refills, this should not take a substantial amount of effort given the current situation in Classic arena, with the return of the infamous bots. So make the most of it, farm your great hall medals!
