Best Revive Champions in Raid Shadow Legends
How Revive Works in Raid Shadow Legends

What the Revive Ability Does
Revive abilities in RAID: Shadow Legends allow champions to bring fallen allies back into battle.
A common strategy is to build your Reviver champions with strong defensive stats while focusing your damage dealers on offense. This ensures that even if your damage dealer is defeated, the Reviver can survive long enough to bring them back into the fight.
Because of their ability to turn battles around, Revivers are among the strongest and most widely used champions in the game.
Different Types of Revive Skills
There are currently three main types of Revive abilities in RAID:
Active Revives
These are the most common Revive abilities. A champion uses an active skill to Revive an ally, often alongside additional effects such as healing, buffs, or Turn Meter boosts.
Examples: Scyl of the Drakes, Noldua the Gloaming
Passive Revives
Passive revives automatically bring champions back to life through a passive ability. These are considered extremely powerful because they are difficult to block or prevent.
Examples: Sun Wukong, Marichka the Unbreakable
Revive on Death
This type relies on the Revive on Death buff to restore an ally after they are defeated. It is generally considered the weakest form of revive because champions return with low HP and no Turn Meter, although certain passives can improve its effectiveness.
Types of Revive Targets
Revive skills can also vary based on how many allies they restore:
Single-Target Revives
These revive one selected ally and usually have the shortest cooldowns.
Random Revives
These typically revive two random allies. They are most commonly found on Epic champions and can be unreliable due to the random targeting.
Full Team Revives
These revive all fallen allies at once. While extremely powerful, they usually come with much longer cooldowns.
Why Revive Champions Are Important

Surviving Difficult Boss Battles
Many bosses in RAID: Shadow Legends have powerful attacks capable of killing fragile champions — especially ATK-based damage dealers — even in well-built teams. Some common examples include:
- The Ice Golem’s passive counterattacks
- The Head of Wrath in Hydra Clan Boss
- The Ram Form in Chimera Clan Boss
- Dangerous wave enemies, such as Tetsuya, resisting your crowd control and landing a lethal hit
Reviver champions help keep your team alive by bringing fallen damage dealers back into the fight, allowing your run to continue even after heavy damage.
Recovering From Mistakes
Not every defeat comes from poor team building — sometimes mistakes or bad luck happen. You may accidentally attack into Reflect Damage during a Hydra run, or misjudge incoming damage while trying to save an important defensive skill for later.
In situations like these, a Reviver can save a run that would otherwise be lost. They reduce the punishment for mistakes, unlucky RNG, or unexpected events, giving your team a chance to recover and continue the battle.

Geargrinder

Wyrennon the Silken

Old Hermit Jorrg

Cardinal

Cardinal is infamous for her unique revive: this revives everyone with maximum turn meter, which is basically an Instant Turn (she was simply created years ago, before this concept existed in it’s modern form). This means that champions she revives will instantly take a turn, opening up some very spicy cheese teams for even very difficult boss or PvP fights!
Tagoar

Noldua the Gloaming

Noldua is an offensive reviver, bringing buff removal and Decrease DEF on her A2. Her A1 Enfeeble is highly effective in PvP or wave-based content, and her team revive is very powerful–making up for her lack of team survivability boosts otherwise. She is also the partner champion of the incredibly OP Solanar, allowing him to be even scarier than he normally is!
Lady Noelle

Lady Noelle has the shortest cooldown team revive in the game at 3 turns, making her a revive spamming machine! Her revive is also a powerful control ability, Freezing all enemies. She’s best when paired with her husband, Sir Nicholas, which turns her A2 into an Unkillable spamming machine by triggering his A3 ability each time it’s used!
Glorious Pallas

Pallas ticks all the boxes for being a great reviver: a team revier; team healing; debuff removal; and block debuffs. She also brings the very rare Fervor buff and has a fantastic Lady Mikage-style A1 attack which lets Argonite allies join in on her attack! Her passive is incredible as well, giving both survivability as well as lots of turn meter. She’s an incredibly good champion.
Mavara the Web Diviner

Mavara is looking likely to be the strongest fusion of 2026, bringing a good single-target revive as well as tons of amazing buffs for her team. Her Increase RES buff stands out for opening up unique high-RES strategies against bosses like Chimera for many players. Her A1 passive is a massive highlight, turning any Fervor buffs on the team into basically 50% chances to Ally Attack, adding a huge amount of consistent damage and utility to any boss fight–pair her up with a champion who can Increase Buff Duration for maximum effect.
Hierophant Lazarius

Lazarius is a great reviver in his Base Form, essentially working as an upgraded Arbiter: his A3 is like hers but better; his A2 is like hers but better; and his revive is only single-target but it is entirely passive. Not to mention he has a great damage-dealing Alternate Form as well, and it’s clear why he’s such a highly rated Mythical champion.
How to Build Revive Champions

Speed Requirements
High SPD is extremely important for Reviver champions, allowing them to quickly bring fallen allies back into battle and cycle back to their revive skills faster.
In most teams, Revivers are typically built:
- Faster than damage dealers
- Similar in speed to support or buffing champions
- Slightly slower than dedicated debuffers
If your Reviver also fills another role, their build should reflect that. For example, a Reviver who places debuffs will usually require higher SPD than a pure support Reviver.
Survivability Stats
A Reviver cannot save the team if they are defeated first, making survivability one of their most important priorities.
HP
HP is generally the most valuable stat for Revivers, especially for champions whose healing, shielding, or support abilities scale from their maximum HP.
DEF
DEF is extremely effective in PvE content, helping Revivers survive boss attacks and wave damage. However, it becomes less reliable in PvP, where many damage dealers are built with Ignore DEF mechanics.
RES
Resistance is more situational because it can be difficult to build effectively, but high RES can dramatically improve survivability by preventing debuffs and crowd control effects.
Keep in mind that hybrid Revivers may require additional stats. For example, Revivers who place debuffs or crowd control effects will also need Accuracy.
Recommended Artifact Sets
PvE Sets
In PvE content, Revivers are commonly equipped with sets focused on survivability and sustain, including:
- Regeneration
- Immortal
- Reflex
- Speed
Reflex and Speed sets are particularly valuable for reducing cooldown downtime and increasing skill usage frequency.
Higher-end PvE sets include:
- Protection
- Bolster
- Rebirth
These sets are more difficult to acquire but provide powerful defensive and team-support benefits.
PvP Sets
In Arena and other PvP content, Revivers are usually built in highly defensive sets designed to survive burst damage and control effects.
Popular options include:
- Stoneskin
- Mercurial
- Feral
Some niche builds also use:
- Chronophage
- Deflection
- Bolster
Stoneskin
A classic PvP choice that grants massive protection at the start of battle. Four-piece builds provide one turn of protection, while six-piece builds extend this to two turns.
Mercurial
Currently one of the strongest endgame options. It requires the full nine-piece set to maximize its effect, granting a Total Guard stack each turn.
Feral
Often used as a four-piece set to provide Block Debuffs at the start of battle, helping protect against Bomb and Poison strategies.
Recommended Relics
There are many excellent relic choices for Revivers depending on your progression level and game mode.
Mythical Relics
Top-tier options include:
- Chrysalid of Rebirth
- Immortal Visage
Legendary Relics
Strong legendary choices include:
- Wand of Submission for PvP utility
- Solmar Crystal for surprise revival potential
Epic Relics
Useful Epic options include:
- Demonic Effigy
- Perched Shadow
These can provide extra Turn Meter or additional turns.
Budget Relics
Even lower-rarity relics can perform well, such as:
- Journal of Necrotos
This relic synergizes nicely with many Revivers thanks to its healing and Turn Meter support.
