Fragment Guide: Nogoryo
Nogoryo joins his Brother, Genbo the Dishonoured as a member of the Shadowkin Ranks! He was released as part of a mini-fusion event in August 2022.
Nogoryo is an out and out damage dealer. Much like his brother, Nogoryo utilises the Increase Attack buff to enhance his kit. He hits more times on the A1, he can steal buffs on the A2 and he reduces the cooldown of his A3, the AoE attack of his kit. He also brings single target Block Buffs and Block Active Skills debuffs but remember you will need to bring accuracy for these effects and therefore probably not relevant in an Arena settings.
His passive will allow him to sustain his own Increase Attack buff whenever an enemy drops below 30% so when paired with other damage dealers he can be quite self-sufficient.
Overall his kit on paper looks like a reasonably decent Damage Dealer perfect if you need some extra damage in your Faction Wars. For arena he may be suitable early but he lacks the utility Genbo brings (ignoring unkillable primarly) plus he only has a single AoE with no Block Revive.
Abilities:
Double Kamas:
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Places an extra hit if this Champion is under an [Increase ATK] buff. Each hit has a 20% chance of placing a [Block Active Skills] debuff for 2 turns.
Abduct by night – Cooldown: 4 Turns
Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns.
If this Champion is under an [Increase ATK] buff, steals all buffs from the target enemy before attacking.
Faster than the eye – Cooldown: 5 Turns
Attacks all enemies. Decreases the cooldown of this skill by 1 turn when attacking under an [Increase ATK] buff.
Murderer’s Lust – Passive – Cooldown: 3 Turns
Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns whenever an enemy’s HP drops below 30%.
This buff cannot be removed.
Is Nogoryo worth going for?
We usually recommend going for each and every fusion, however – with this one being an Epic Champion and so soon after the Lonatharil fusion, you may opt to hold out on this one since he will be much more obtainable through shards – purely based on resource preservation.
In terms of whether he is actually good though, he has surprisingly high multipliers on his A3 for an Epic Champion and thus could be a great arena nuker for many accounts, especially if you don’t have some of the top-tier Champions for this job – so the decision is one that you need to make based on your account, as, unlike Legendary Fusions, you won’t be picking this guy up for the potential of a rework in the future.

All Tournament/Event Points are calculated based on a MAX LEVEL account. These points may vary depending on your account progression and you may require significantly fewer points than displayed in our guide.
Day 1:
New Events:
Champion Training Tournament – 5/10 (15) Fragments – 1850 / 4225 Points
The point requirement for this Training Tournament is relatively low, still needs pushing for.
Make sure you are also levelling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.
Take this time to level up all of your food and 6 stars some of the champions you’ve wanted to for a while!
Day 2:
New Events:
Summon Rush Event – 25 Fragments – 1600/2950 Points
Ice Golem Tournament – 10 Fragments – 2250 Points
For the Ice Golem Tournament, this lines up nicely with the Dungeon Divers Event which starts tomorrow if you decide to wait to double dip with your energy – 2250 points will take around 140 runs of level 20+ based on the worst possible drop rates of only 5* Rare gear.
The Summon Rush as always, will be a game of how many shards do you have. To earn the fragments you will need to accumulate 2,950 points, this lines up with the x10 Summon Event for some of the best Champions in the game:
This Friday, August 26th we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon the following Champions from Ancient, Sacred, and Void Shards
On Sunday, August 28th we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon the following Champions from Ancient, Sacred, and Void Shards
Moreover, on Friday, August 26th we’re also planning to launch a Guaranteed Champion event simultaneously with x10 events.
Summon Champions using Void Shards while the event is active, and you are guaranteed to get Turvold by your 80th Void Shard
Remember, if you do happen to summon Turvold before your 80th Void Shard, your event will end.
Day 3:
New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 10 Fragments – 1950/2850 Points
This Dungeon Divers Event lines up perfectly with the currently active Ice Golem Tournament, so today is the perfect opportunity for you to double-dip for maximum rewards, completing both events simultaneously. Once you’ve finished Ice Golem you still will need some points in Dungeon Divers, however with 3 days to complete, you’ll be able to tie this into upcoming events too.
Day 4:
New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event – 10 Fragments – 2000/3300 Points
To get this event’s Fragments, you’ll require 3300 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.
1. If you pre-rolled your gear to level 7/11/15 before the event, you can go ahead and burn through your silver taking these up by 1 level each to gain quick easy points.
2. The other really good option for these events is doing a good old gear clear-out, rolling things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, selling things that you won’t want to keep, a great guide for this is here.
Day 5:
New Events:
Fire Knight Tournament – 10 Fragments – 2250 Points
It’s Fire Knight time! This will overlap with Clan vs Clan AND the ongoing Dungeon Diver’s Event – so it’s time to burn some energy and get great value out of it! To get the fragments, it will take you 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.
Day 6:
New Events:
Champion Training Event – 20 Fragments – 3150/6950 Points
Another event that links nicely with Clan vs Clan – It’s time to upgrade your Champions! This point requirement is nothing crazy for a Training Event at 6,950 for the final set of fragments.
Make sure you are also levelling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.
Take this time to level up all of your food and 6 star some of the champions you’ve wanted to for a while!
Day 7:
New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 10 Fragments – 1950/2850 Points
Classic Arena Takedown – 10 Fragments – 390 Points
It’s time for the final events!
For the Dungeon Divers, this is the clean-up event, while active during Clan vs Clan focus your energy into finishing up any events that you have not yet completed whilst also chipping away at your Divers Event, this is great because you can triple-dip your energy and if you are lucky enough to win clan vs clan with personal rewards then you’ll get a nice energy bonus tomorrow morning to finish up any remaining points you may need!
Arena Tournaments are always quite passive ones, you should be ensuring to use all of your daily battles which should allow you to receive the points for this rare fairly easily, of course, if you’re struggling in the Arena this may prove to be a bit of a challenge, but make sure you are persistent in refreshing your fight page every 15min and taking on fights you know you can win – don’t take unnecessary risks.
Truncated event list for this Epic. No Champ Chase, no Dragon, no Spider. Keeps the two annoying dungeons.
However, unless you actually place top-2 in a tourney, you must complete Summon Rush. Fortunately, that starts tomorrow morning, so we can make a determination if it’s a normal high-bar or a lessened one. Champ Training only need 4225 pts for all 15 frags, so Summon Rush might be attainable with just Mysteries, if you have a ton. We shall see.
As I wanted to focus on leveling food for my upcoming Drexthar, Yannica and Rhazin, I’m gonna operate as if I’m doing the Champ-Train anyways, so I’ll use the Summon Rush levels to tell me if I want to go for this Epic while I do normal things in the game. If so, I’ll do my usual and have a good chance to snag a top-2 position in Champ-Train and avoid Summon Rush altogether.
Either way I am not sweating this Fusion whatsoever.
2950 to get all 25 frags on Summon Rush… No thank you!
If you do the all the other tournaments and events, you only need 10 frags from Summon Rush
– 1600pts.
If you finish top 2 in the tournaments you can bypass Summon Rush altogether!
Just ONE tournament top 2 by the way is needed
It was nice to not care and spend my time doing Minotaur runs to master up some neglected champs
