HP Burner 10x Event!

After yesterday’s information was released with a guessing game about who may be included in this weekend’s Summon Events, Plarium has released the official statement which confirms our thoughts!

Let’s look at this weekend’s upcoming Summon Events, which will be a part of the Maranix fusion, involving a Summon Rush Event!

Plarium Announcement:

Hey y’all!
This Friday, October 7th, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon the following Champions from Ancient, Sacred, and Void Shards.

– Teumesia
– Hurndig
– Tyrant Ixlimor
– Underpriest Brogni
– Skraank
– Geomancer
– Fahrakin the Fat
– Mordecai

What is special about these Champions?

The running trend for this set of summons is of course, [HP Burn] Debuffers! But what does it actually do?

HP Burn is one of the strongest debuffs in Raid Shadow Legends. It is one of the strongest ways to defeat Spider in the highest levels as every time any enemy with HP Burn moves it ticks the damage on all enemies.

The damage hits for % ENEMY MAX HP therefore the higher the enemy’s health the more damage it does!
You can only apply one HP burn debuff to any target and be aware against Clan boss the damage is capped at 50k for rare and 75k damage for Epics and Legendaries per tick!

HP Burn ticks for 3% of the enemies max HP every time any enemy with this debuff moves.

Are these Champions worth going for?

For a start, if you are competing in the current ongoing fusion for Maranix, you will NEED to pull shards this weekend, as it’s an opportunity to get your hands on another Prosecutor and also a copy of the Epic Champion, Tomoe.

But let’s take a look at some of the big stars from this weekends Shard Event and let you know why you may want to pick them up:

Teumesia:

Teumesia is a fantastic Champion who can dish out some serious damage, whether it be in Hydra, Spider, Doom Tower or even in Ice Golem and Faction Wars – Teumesia‘s kit all revolves around HP Burn debuffs and control, whilst also having the chance of removing Freeze debuffs from your team!

Hurndig:

Hurndig is an incredibly diverse Champion who can either be used as a Nuker or Debuffer, even a hybrid of both if your gear allows it! Hurndig is a very capable Nightmare Campaign farmer and is used often in wave content in areas such as Dungeons and Doom Tower – but also used in Arena for those who don’t have some of the better options such as his Dwarven ally, Trunda Giltmallet.

Tyrant Ixlimor:

Tyrant is known as one of the best champions in the game to kill Spider! Tyrant has an AOE HP burn skill and an Ally Protection ability making him great for Spider. Tyrant is a generally strong champion in most content but also excels in Clan Boss and Faction Wars where his passive ability to reduce the damage your team takes is huge! It is best to gear in Stalwart sets, speed sets or Perception. Ensure he has high accuracy, speed and defensive stats.

Overall an amazing legendary!

Underpriest Brogni:

Underpriest Brogni has a kit focused on his ability to place shields that cannot be removed via skills. He can then top those shields up with further abilities and offers healing. He is also one of the few champions that can apply block debuffs and increase attack on the same skill.
Brogni is prolifically known as one of the best fusions of all time and can comfortably slot himself into nearly every area of the game, and help out all of your teams!

Skraank:

Skraank brings vital debuffs for many aspects of Raid, AoE 100% Chance HP Burn Debuff. This is especially useful in Hydra Clan Boss and Spider dungeon and often used to kill many Boss opponents. What makes Skraank extra strong is his passive bonus. When 5 enemies are burnt (which is reasonably easy to activate), Skraank will increase his Attack and Critical Damage value by 25%. This is quite a significant increase in damage putting his numbers up into the Godlike range of damage output.

Geomancer:

Arguably the biggest hype of this event, especially for those who don’t have Geomancer, as this little dude is a weapon when it comes to boss damage, whether it be in Clan Boss, Doom Tower, Hydra or most recently, the Iron Twin’s Fortress.

Geomancer has an incredibly unique passive with the ability to reflect damage back to enemies who hit you whilst under an HP Burn debuff placed by Geomancer, which can lead to some devastating damage numbers, whilst also reducing the damage your team takes!

Fahrakin the Fat:

Fahrakin has a team attack ability on his A3 enabling all allies to attack with their A1 abilities. Before this ability is cast they also gain a +30% Increase C.Rate and a +30% Increase C.DMG buffs.
This ability is great in Fire Knight, Arena, and Clan Boss! To get the most from this skill you can build your team with just 70% crit rate and still ensure hard critical hits!
Fahrakin also has a decrease defence single target A1 and HP burn and poisons on his A2.

Mordecai:

For those struggling with Spider, Look no further than Mordecai, no matter the affinity you’re facing – Mordecai places HP Burns without hitting, so you can never land a weak hit to disrupt your run!

Outside of Spider, Mordecai can be very valuable in Doom Tower and even in Hydra Clan Boss as he can place his HP Burn through the Poison Cloud buff
