Neva’s Free 2 Play 2025 Update – Arbiter Soon!
Hey guys, we’ve been doing the Free 2 Play 2025 Competition now for just over a month and this year I’ve truly committed to pushing myself to the limit after dropping out early on last year (in my defence, I got married 2 weeks into the competition and the build-up left me without much free time!)
But needless to say, this time YST made me promise him that I’d stick with it due to being part of Team Queen of Hearts with him, I couldn’t let him down!
So, in this update I’m going to be running through where my account is at currently, and where my progress is taking me, including nearing the end of the Arbiter Missions with very little standing in my way now!
Doom Tower:
So our first Doom Tower Rotation is coming to an end, where I’ve been able to completely clear Normal Doom Tower – Unfortunately Nubs beat me out as the first to clear it as I was stuck on Nether Spider 110 before YST suggested I swapped my Harima into Lifesteal and I quote “She’ll solo it no prob” – well, he wasn’t wrong, it wasn’t fast or pretty, but Harima blasted through the boss all on her own!
I’ve taken full advantage of this rotation to farm myself a couple of decent-ish Guardian sets because I opted not to pick Toragi the Frog from the new player codes I had no other solution for Ally Protection to help mitigate damage.
I’ve started pushing into Hard Doom Tower too, reaching Floor 34 currently, although we still have a day left so I’m going to try and take down Eternal Dragon at Floor 40 by the end, although every stage is a long-winded manual attempt at this stage.
Chimera Clan Boss:
As a Clan we’re taking down both Easy and Normal Chimera currently, which inspired me to make sure I could 1-key both of these difficulties to get the maximum rewards each week and hopefully pick up some juicy relics to help empower my accounts progress.
Chimera is actually an area of the game I’ve not spent much time figuring out due to my Main account comfortably reaching high damage with no real effort.
Nonetheless, I was able to 1-key both Easy and Normal (30.27m on Easy, 13.21m on Normal). Unfortunately, I did the latter on my phone, so it hasn’t registered on the leaderboards, but that’s fine as Bront from Queen of Hearts put me to shame with his 33.59m run on Normal!
Hydra Clan Boss:
I’m a bit annoyed at myself for Hydra, I stupidly saved a key last week that was 5.9 million on Normal – in my mind the top chest was 5.6 million, but it was actually 6.6 million – this week though I’ll be sure to hit that top chest on Normal and get myself some more Stoneskin and Protection gear!
I’ll be replacing Kael in my team with Cupidus now that he is levelled up to give me a more consistent burn as Kael spent nearly the whole run on the floor and doing nothing!
**Update: I wrote this last reset, and since have hit a 7.3 million key, one key achieved and quick battle unlocked!
Demon Lord Clan Boss:
When it comes to Clan Boss, in the first couple of weeks I was head-to-head with Loomie to see who could do the most damage… well that was short-lived as his Helicath has blasted him way ahead of me now, but I am 2-keying Nightmare using Alice, Harima, Sabitha, Uugo and Geomancer.
Unfortunately, Geomancer isn’t booked yet as I only got him last week and the access to Epic books has felt rough this year, so his HP Burn is still at a 5-turn Cooldown and even then it’s not 100% chance yet! Once he’s booked, I expect my damage will climb further and potentially allow me to start moving slowly into Ultra Nightmare!
The ideal situation for me now would be getting an Ally Protection Champion or a Counterattack would also be amazing, but I’ll work with what I have, I’m confident I can move into Ultra Nightmare with this team even if it is a clutch 3-key for a while!
Arena:
Now this has been my specialty this series, having pushed to gold I arena in the first 2 days I have been able to secure Gold chests every reset so far, and for the last 3 weeks I have been chilling in Gold V or on some days, Platinum!
This has made farming Great Hall medals a breeze due to the high quantity of 1-man Defences, and given me an edge over many of the other content creators, in fact – I am now working towards Great Hall 10 after just 33 days having just finished the Arbiter Mission to reach Great Hall 9.
Dungeons:
It feels like a long time since I’ve touched a dungeon on the account, between mastery farming and farming food I’ve barely had any free energy – but all of that is soon set to change – my teams are starting to take form and by this time next week I am sure I will have all dungeons on a minimum of level 20 (granted, most of them are 25-18 already), but I will have to finish them off for the Arbiter Missions very soon!
Potion Keeps: Level 20 (on all).
Minotaur: Stage 15 (sub 1 minute farm)
Event Dungeon: Level 18
Ice Golem’s Peak: Stage 19
Spider’s Den: Stage 20
Dragon’s Lair: Stage 25
Fire Knight’s Castle: Stage 20
As for Sand Devil and Phantom’s Shogun – I’ve given them ZERO time, in fact I haven’t even cleared stage 1 of Phantom’s Shogun (I should probably push that for some easy ranking points soon).
Arbiter Missions:
As I mentioned above, I am now getting into the final sprint of the Arbiter Missions, with one time-gating mission standing in my way, a week of the arena (200 wins) and then some dungeons to finish up.
My goal is to have Arbiter ready to collect in time for the next Clan vs Clan Tournament (2 weeks away) although I think it’s likely that I will be done with the missions by the end of next week.
Champion Progress:
My account has come such a long way in a short space of time, if you’d told me a month ago that I would have 9x Rank 6 Champions by this point I would have laughed at you and said “There’s no way I’m doing THAT much Campaign!”.
Although, now it’s time to take a step-back from Champion development and time to start working on my gear – the Dungeons are about to get some love, unless I pull something new and fun to invest in at least.
I had a bit of a weak moment in the competition last week however, I decided to burn 900 gems on shards, something I promised myself I wouldn’t do – but it paid off as I got myself a Geomancer!!
I do also have several legendaries, having pulled Harima on day 1 or 2 – I also pulled a Cupidus and Saito very early on.
I’m relatively happy with my builds I’ve managed to make so far on the Champions I’m using, especially Alice – she absolutely slaps!
