The Best Sleep Champions in Raid Shadow Legends

Spacer
Spacer

With the release of Al-Naemeh, the Sand Devil imminent, Sleep champions are now a topic of real discussion in the Raid community. Sleep, as a debuff, has been very low tier in priority for most players due to the fact any form of damage removes the debuff. That left people preferring Stun or Provoke debuffs as a method of controlling the enemy. This also meant Daze set was considered really poor but may be another source of Sleep if you dont have the champions in this list.

With Al-Naemah, you will 100% require a Sleep debuff or you will face an impossible fight. Below we have listed the very best Sleep Champions currently available in Raid as of Patch 6.22 (November 2022).

Siphi the Lost Bride-Portrait

Siphi the Lost Bride – Curse of the Longing (A1)

Arguably the most frustrating ability in Arena since her release, Siphi’s A1 will sleep any target with 100% chance if they have more than 50% turn meter. It’s so powerful it doesn’t even require accuracy and it’s on her A1 ability allowing maximum uptime. If you want a Sleep Champion, Siphi is your first choice!

chaagur portrait

Chaagur – Stupor (A1)

A1 Sleep’s are the best for most uptime but Chaagur takes this one step further. Whenever an enemy that he poisons tries to take a turn he attacks them before they can do so. His A1 then has a 75% chance to Sleep making him incredibly good for re-applying Sleep on targets.

Hellhound – Paralyzing Bite (A1)

Probably the best alternative to Siphi, Put 100% Critical Rate on Hellhound and he will permanently Sleep a single target. The only downside is he is a Common champion so you cannot ascend him meaning no Amulet or Banner. Still a great option if you can keep him alive!

Spacer

Muckstalker – Strangle (A2)

Another 100% Sleep but this time on a 2 turn cooldown, Muckstalker is a great option if you can guarentee the enemy has no buffs prior to him using the A2. Affinity will be an issue for the top stage of the Sand Devil Necropolis but otherwise a solid option.

Spacer
Prince Kymar-Portrait

Prince Kymar – Abyssal Gaze (A2)

More like a King than a Prince, Kymar fully cleanses then sleeps all enemies, arguably the best AoE Sleep ability in the game. He can also reset his A2 with his full skill reset on the A3. His affinity however hurts his potential on the highest stages of the Sand Devil.

Spacer

Gaius the Gleeful – Jester’s Remedy (A2)

Often considered the best Arena Bomb champion, Gaius brings a 100% Sleep on an AoE alongside his bombs. The goal is to ensure the bombs go off but as a Sleep it is one of the best AoE options however Affinity will be an issue for the top stage of the Sand Devil Necropolis.

Spacer

Conellia – Peace of the Deep (A2)

A bit of a niche pick in arena and YST Famously made her a Bommal solo champion, Conellia has a pretty potent A2 ability on a 3 turn cooldown where she places Sleep on all target (she even can replace that sleep with a fear if it gets removed/expires). As she doesnt attack with this ability affinity is less of an issue with the Sand Devil but it may be too long a cooldown!

Spacer
noct the paralyzer portrait

Noct the Paralyzer – Dreamer’s Demise (A2)

Noct the Paralyzer brings two opportunities to sleep! His A2 is a 100% sleep with poisons to help you output some damage. His A3 then places Ally protection. Noct’s passive will re-apply Sleep when an ally who is protected by Ally protect is attacked with a 40% chance. This is almost certain to happen with a full team against AoE attacks. A strong option for the Sand Devil!

Spacer

Maeve – Stupefy (A1)

Another strong A1 Sleep although not 100% so there is a risk with Maeve that you can miss too many windows for a sleep. She does have a cool utility to get 50% chance for an extra turn although you want champions who can place debuffs quickly so another turn is not always ideal in Sand Devil. Outside of Sand Devil an extra turn into a possible Block Revive on A3 is interesting..

Spacer
Djamarsa Portrait

Djarmarsa – Night’s Finger (A1)

Most players can earn Djamarsa quickly by getting 3 referral accounts to level 10. Her A1 when booked is 50% so quite unreliable however she does bring a full team revive, a strong single target heal and a passive that can allow skills to reduce their cooldown (think of it like a weaker Reflex set). She may be the best support single target sleep for your Sand Devil Team.

Honourable Mentions

There are a number of other great Sleep champions that unfortunately are not ideal for the Sand Devil or are too dependant on conditions. Let’s list these:

  1. Tayrel – Requires Decrease Attack to be present (which is impossible without first sleeping)
  2. Alure – Requires Decrease Defence to be present (which is impossible without first sleeping)
  3. Retainer – Sleeps a full Turn Meter Depletion (Turn meter cannot be decreased without first sleeping)
  4. Seer – 100% Sleep with reasonable buffs but you lose all your buffs which is likely not ideal
  5. Zelotah – A low chance on the A1 or an extremely long cooldown

That’s it folks! Sleep is a very limited debuff with few great options available to you. Let us know in the comments below if you plan on using any of these champions for your Sand Devil Team!

Crimson Slayer has a 3 hitter A1 @ 50% chance on each hit (when booked) for sleep debuff.

It is ‘at random’ so providing the boss has no adz it should be pretty solid.

Could be a really viable and inexpensive option?

Will the sleep debuff placed by the previous hit be broken by the subsequent hit making the chance of sleep still only 50% as only the last hit of the three can place a sleep debuff without breaking it by this champion? Never used this champion so don’t know how her A1 works.

Use Hellhound/Muckstalker. Common and rare respectivly. And if you’re early game, don’t worry about this dungeon.

Why TF is Marquis in here, but marked as Noct? Noct is a great sleeper, while Marquis is… trash.
