Weekend Progressive Summons – RAID: Shadow Legends
Plarium has announced that this weekend they will be launching a Progressive Summons Event with some incredibly powerful damage dealers up for grabs, and not just Legendaries, there are some incredibly valuable Epics up for grabs too!
Plarium Announcement
Hey y’all! I have some news about the upcoming event:
This Friday, May 23rd, we’re planning to launch Progressive Chance Event, giving you at least x15 chance to summon the Champions of your choice from the selected pool from Ancient, Primal, Sacred, and Void Shards
1 Slot Legendary Champions:
1 Slot Epic Champions:
What is a Progressive Summon Event?

Unlike x2 events, where the odds of pulling a specific rarity is increased, progressive summons increase the chance that should you pull the higher rarity i.e. Legendary then you have an increased chance of earning the selected champion. If you pull the rarity then the chances increase when you pull the rarity again. The way it works is quite simple:
When you summon a champion, there is a 1 / total possible champions in that rarity. When you take part in a progressive summon, the total possible champions is increased by 14 for the champion you selected and you instead gain a 15 / total possible champions in that rarity + 14. This means the chances of acquiring the 1 champion that you select increases.
To get started, you select 1 champion from the list of available options per rarity and per shard. You will increase the odds by x15. Once you pull the rarity the odds increase to x20 and finally if you pull the rarity a second time it increases to a x25. Naturally, if you go 2 legendary deep then the chances of pulling your desired legendary on the third pull is the best outside of guaranteed summon events.
Who should you choose?

You can only select 1 champion of each rarity per shard so making the right choice is important. Fortunately, you can change your choice at any point during the summon event. Your choice will depend on who is already in your roster and what gaps you are looking to fill. We believe the options below are the best for most accounts as these champions provide the best overall power.
Harima
Harima is a Force affinity Legendary from the Shadowkin faction, infused with the mythical power of dragons and built to dominate as a tanky damage dealer with strong anti-meta control. Her standout feature is her ability to counter Demonspawn champions through her A2, Celestial Awe, which places an irresistible Provoke—ignoring resistance and block debuff effects—making her an ideal check for threats like Duchess and Candraphon without needing any Accuracy investment. Her passive, Demon Slayer, prevents Demonspawn from landing critical hits on her, ensures she never weak-hits them, and reduces all Ignore Defence effects by 50%, making her incredibly resilient in PvP.
Her scaling potential is just as strong as her utility. With Purgative Punishment, she can increase her own Defence by up to 100% and reduce the enemy’s Defence by up to 30%, stacking both effects with each hit. Combined with Increase Defence buffs, this gives her top-tier scaling and survivability. Her A1 brings Decrease ATK, giving her a role in Clan Boss and other PvE content as well. Harima is a highly versatile Legendary with strong control, scaling, and defensive mechanics—excelling in Arena, Doom Tower, Faction Wars, and more.
Onryo Ieyasu

Onryo Ieyasu is a Void Legendary built purely for damage, with a skill set that punishes buff-heavy teams and excels in both PvP and PvE. His standout ability, Final Vengeance (A3), hits twice while ignoring 50% of the target’s Defence and bypassing buffs like Stone Skin, Shield, and Strengthen, making it devastating in Arena and useful in Hydra, especially for freeing digested allies or targeting decapitated heads. His A2, Violent Purification, can destroy up to 50% of a target’s MAX HP and scales damage up to 100% based on buffs and debuffs present. While HP destruction doesn’t work on bosses, this skill still hits extremely hard and blocks revives, making him a top-tier choice for countering revive-reliant teams and bulky support champions.
His A1 becomes particularly deadly in Arena and Hydra due to its multiple-hit potential, striking up to four times against buffed Undead Hordes enemies, like Rotos or Siphi, and granting an extra turn on kill. This makes him ideal for Ally Attack comps, especially with champions like Lady Mikage, where multiple strong A1s can carry fights. On top of that, his passive deals an extra hit to a secondary enemy (not the initial target), ignoring 100% of their Defence, making it a reliable source of unmitigated pressure. While this extra hit can’t crit, it contributes to Onryo’s value as a damage-dealing menace capable of tearing through teams and bosses alike.
Should you Summon?
Since this event is not included as part of any fusion event, these events are typically designed to drain your resources and distract you from upcoming events by consuming your shards, so bare that in mind when making any decision to pull/not to pull.
However, should you choose to summon, Many of these champions are going to be real gamechangers in the Hard Mode Faction Wars, giving your account an edge when facing the challenging new stages and help you earn the brand new free Mythical Champion!
Are you going for any of these Champions? Let us know who in the comments!
