What makes an effective 12-3 Brutal Campaign Farmer?
In this post, we’re going to cover what it takes to make an effective 12-3 campaign farmer, different options and ways to build them for consistently fast campaign runs to level your food in Raid Shadow Legends.
First of all, what do we mean by effective? By this, we’re looking at champions who can consistently run 12-3 Brutal campaign with 100% success in a fast time, with 3 random champions for XP.
As mentioned in our post here, all 4 of the starter champions make for useful campaign farmers in the early game, but as you progress you will find yourself with much better, faster champions for this.
Some of the best and most used champions for this are:
Ithos – Void – Legendary
Bellower – Void – Rare
Skullcrown – Void – Epic
Queen Eva – Spirit – Legendary
Fell hound – Void – Rare
Big’Un – Magic – Legendary
Rae – Magic – Legendary
While there are many other options, some of them do not have only AOE abilities which means their AI can prioritise a single target hit instead, which will slow down your run, and some are negative affinity which brings the chance of a weak hit slowing down your run.
The most common way of building your campaign farmer is to give them 100% Crit rate, and high Critical Damage + Attack, with minimal speed as the enemies in 12-3 are very slow, this will ensure you are able to 1 shot all 3 waves and clear the stage in 6-10 seconds.
Another commonly used gearing method for this, is by having enough speed to go twice per turn the enemy takes, for this you want to aim for around 190 speed, and as much damage into your build as you can, this is less effective as while running with food they might be fast enough to go between your turns which will make the run take longer, however, it is a perfectly viable method if you can’t reach the gear levels required to 1 shot the waves, one thing to note is that this method doesn’t work for all champions, like Queen Eva for example, as she relies on her A3 killing people to reset its cooldown.

No Saurus?
Saurus is great but we dont have a profile on the website from him – we are looking to start adding uncommons
Is Rae able to one shop all three waves without books?
mine was, but sadly rae will never beat saurus because of her animation times being longer, causing her to be 7 second to saurus 6
what about Shieldguard?
He is really good too
I’m using Septimus. But it needs to off A2. 12 sec jn PC
I have a question I feel would be benificial to all. If we are doing Multibattles how many battles does it take to get to max XP on each level? (with xp boost)
Example:
1-20 on a 2 * is 10 battles
1-30 on a 3 * is 24 battles
Farming Brutal 12-3 with 1 farmer and 3 gaining XP, with Raid Card and XP boost yields 10,382 XP per champion per victory. The XP requirements per level increase even level as well, but decrease slightly per * rank. So it’s faster to get to 10 as a 2* than a 1* despite earning the same XP.
1-10 on a 1* is 3 battles (7, 9, 10)
1-20 on a 2* is 8 battles (7, 10, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20)
1-30 on a 3* is 20 battles (7, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 27, 28, 28, 29, 29, 30)
1-40 on a 4* is 44 battles (6, 10, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 27, 28, 29, 29, 30, 30, 31, 32, 32, 33, 33, 33, 34, 34, 35, 35, 35, 36, 36, 36, 37, 37, 37, 38, 38, 38, 39, 39, 39, 39, 40)
I’ve never counted/calculated 1-50 for a 5*, but I’m guessing it would likely be around 93 battles based on the pattern.. And 1-60 for a 5* would be about 194 battles. But I generally don’t have the patience for that. After I get to the 40s or 50, I’ll use the appropriate affinity brews to top them off.
Hi, i missunderstud this game from the start, slowly i start understand it, but right now my personal issues are, farming for silver in champaigns, made me high lvl on account 70+, my champs, aren t the most hunted/desired by all, but i try to catch up. As most players, i tryed my look in putting some cash in game, but didn t gave so much satisfaction. I would like to have a stop exp, till i decide to go for lvl, cuz Plarium puts me now with players near my lvl, but much more stronger. They should put you in Arena, near players close to your account power.
not sure what this has to do with 12-3 campaign farming
I’m using Suzerain Katonn – he hits kind of weak, but is getting the job done in 12 seconds.
When you say minimal speed, do you mean we just have exceed the speed of the fastest enemy in that particular stage?
yeah
Anyone know which champ has the fastest animations? Which is the absolute best end-game min-maxing?
I think it’s still Fellhound with 6 secs
How do you have yours done? Because when I tried it with mine it didn’t work out well
Did you have him with… Gear?
fellhound
Ignatius nightmare 12-6 is hard to beat. Also, more efficient.
What about a nightmare campaign farmer
What about Genbo the Dishonored? I think he rocks as a Campaign Farmer
hey mate, i really enjoyed your video it was really helpful. I’m just about to go and rebuild my bellower.
Does the same apply when you are trying to 3 star nightmare? can u use I champion with the stats in the video of do you need 2
Iv been stuck on 225 stars for a while and would love to get it done.
Cheers
@fullykooked if you are stuck in brimstone path.
Paragon cheese could be your answer.
Thanks for this! I am a pretty new player and I have read a lot about taking your starter to 6* to use as a campaign farmer. My starter is Elhain, but I’ve also pulled Galek and Skullcrown. Would you recommend making Skullcrown my 6* to farm to build XP?
(My other options are Decon Armstrong, Sigmund the Highshield, and Cillian the Lucky)
Cheers!
Skullcrown is amazing for the job :)
Agreed. Skullcrown is my farmer. Had her do a best of 7 seconds on 12-3. Had to re-gear for some other champs, so now she is about 9 seconds per run.
Would sinesha be a better campaign farmer or my starter champion (kael)
I’m using Skullcrown as my farmer. She beats it in between 10 – 17 seconds depending on helmsmasher and what food is with her.
Since I haven’t yet pulled any of the better AoE farmers, I’ve been using Septimus. Consistent 13 second boi without having to regear specifically for farming. Besides that, realistically from full energy I can go 17 runs before needing to use gems, which is less than 4 minutes @13 seconds each. Long term (I’m talking across weeks, months, maybe years) yea, that couple minutes difference between a 13 second run and a 6 second run will add up, but it’s definitely not like it makes much difference in the meantime.
I have been using BEK and Magnarr for brutal but I have realized that they are no match on Nightmare anyone recommend any decent ones to finish out Nightmare.
Ithos, Ignatius and Hurnig are basically all of them. They need to have a lot of speed, 2 hard hitting AoE abilities and high speed.
I’m pretty partial to Baron as my campaign farmer. I get 7 seconds 97-98% of the time and 6 seconds for the rest. Set his A2 and A3 to do not use, A4 to priority 1. I have mine booked because I use him in doom tower a lot, but he worked just as well without books for campaign farming. Works pretty well for 12-7, or any brutal bosses, when you need to complete one of those annoying “Win X Rare Item” clan quests too, but on 12-7 he can fail once or twice per 100 trips depending on what food you’re levelling.
I’ve been using a maxed out fu-shan. He can solo and level farm food/coin.
