spacer

This secret room requires you to use Rare Spirit Champions only. Let’s break down how to approach this challenge!

Enemy Waves

Below are the waves you will face in the secret room including the stats – generally secret room enemies are much slower than other aspects of Doom Tower. You should pay special attention to the following problematic champions:

Throughout these waves you will come up against Spirithost who utilises full cleanses, Master Butcher who can revive upon being killed, AOE heal reductions from Crimson Slayer followed by multiple forms of damage & healers.

How to beat the secret room!

spacer

Below is the recommend team that is best fit to beat this room. We also detail alternatives for each champion if you do not have them. It is worth noting alternatives are fine replacements but will be less efficient i.e. potentially make the run slower or require you to run a few times to get good RNG.

The combination of champions displayed coincides with multiple key roles such as damage, heals, and crowd control with Stun artifacts to take this floor down. You will be facing tedious opponents such as Spirithost [who can remove all Debuffs from enemies], and Sanctum Protector who can provoke you! Therefore controlling these enemies yourself, followed by damage will be the key to success.

MVP’s for this Strategy

Soulbond Bowyer – This champion combines strong damage output, coinciding with an AOE default ability. This opens the opportunity to utilise Stun Artefacts to grant a chance of crowd-controlling your enemies, without relying on cooldowns!

Abyssal – This demon slayer is a great support option packed with AOE hits on multiple skills, and heals for your team, followed by Increase Defence & Increase Attack buffs at the lower variation.

Gnarlhorn – This rare combines AOE provokes on all enemies with an Unkillable buff of his own to synergise perfectly. When Gnarlhorn is in the squad, enemies will almost always be crowd controlled.

Mother Superior – When looking for a great healer/support champion, she fits the role perfectly. She provides 7.5% continuous heal buffs, Shields, single target heals and a speed aura in all battles.

Master Butcher – This dwarven warrior is all about Provokes and unique passives. These consist of healing allies by the amount this champion receives, followed by a revival on an ally when this champion is killed. This may just be the difference between winning or losing!

Champion Alternatives

Not every player will have this exact team, but there are very good options to some of these champions. Below we detail viable alternatives:

Damage Dealers:

Hyria, Berserker, Marquess

Control:

Prosecutor, Templar, Soulbond Bowyer, Gnarlhorn, Abyssal, Marauder

Support:

Warpriest, Mother Superior, Metalshaper, Channeler, Lamibur, Spirithost, Hexweaver, Master Butcher

Berserker is my favorite DPS rare, he hits so hard!

That sounds good, so it really could be him. Did you just build him for damage, or should he be wearing a stun set, too?

Hiho! Thanks for your help, man! Much appreciated.
Here`s something I don`t get, though. If I understand this page correctly, the rare barbarian “Berserker“ is part of the best team to defeat this secret room. I tried looking up how to gear him, but when I go to his page it just says “useless, do not waste anything on this awful guy“. So, what now? Is the wrong guy in the picture? Who should it be instead? Further down he`s even recommended as a damage dealer for this room by name. Is this a mistake? Or is he picture correct, and the information on his site is outdated?
And where can I find the best way to gear the recommended team? I guess all AoE attackers should be wearing a stun set. But is there anything more specific I could find?
Thanks in advance,
Galenik
