The Ultimate Epics For Hard Faction Wars – High Elves!
Hard Faction Wars has arrived in Teleria for those who have already claimed Lydia the Deathsiren as the ultimate reward for 3-starring all the stages in Normal difficulty. Now, the quest continues for the latest Faction Wars reward, Polara Fireheart – a Mythical champion from the Sacred Order. Along the way, you’ll earn some impressive milestone rewards as you push through these new stages. In this series of articles, we’ll be spotlighting some of the MVP Epic champions you should consider for each faction.
This new Hard Mode adds extra challenges to earn those 3-star clears: 1 star for simply completing the stage, 2 stars for finishing with 5 champions without losing anyone, and a final 3rd star for completing the unique stage condition. The Epics we’re featuring here range from top-tier powerhouses to those who fill a niche role – sometimes perfectly suited for tackling specific stage conditions, and sometimes offering broad utility that can cover multiple requirements.
You’ll also come across a stage that requires you to beat it using at least 3 Epic champions – so even if you have Meta Legendaries for most stages, these Epics will still find a place in your team for that challenge. Let’s dive into some of the best Epic champions from the High Elves!
Most Valuable Players

Although there aren’t any stages that specifically require the Provoke debuff for a 3-star clear, it doesn’t take away from just how impactful a champion like Skeuramis can be for controlling waves. He can place this debuff on all enemies on a 3-turn cooldown, while also granting himself Counterattack and Continuous Heal buffs. This allows him to retaliate and steal 15% of the Turn Meter of those he counterattacks, with a chance to place a Stun if he fully depletes them. He also reduces all buff durations on enemies to help meet the stage 5 and 12 requirements, and places Decrease Attack to reduce incoming damage.
If you’re looking for a champion who brings both crowd control and damage, Ethlen is a great option. He has flown under the radar since his release, but as a Void champion who can place Block Active Skills, he’s extremely useful against Mythicals, general waves, and this effect can’t be countered by Jingwon’s passive. Against high-resistance enemies, the Increase Accuracy from his A3 can help reach the thresholds you need, while the Extra Turn lets you cycle into his A2 more often. On top of this, he deals solid damage and ignores 10% of defence against Support, DEF, and HP champions (but not bosses).
When it comes to defensive and offensive support, Ilysinya brings a strong set of effects to the team. Through her A3, she applies both a 20% Shield and a 15% Strengthen to allies, keeping them protected. When her Shield expires, are removed, or are broken by enemy attacks, her passive will heal her by 30% to ensure her own survivability. Block Buffs is a crucial effect for Faction Wars, and her ability to strip enemies of Block Debuffs – then placing Block Buffs is strong, just keep in mind this isn’t a 100% chance. Overall, she’s a simple yet effective champion to help support you through waves.
Andryssia can decrease the duration of all enemy buffs by 2 turns, while extending the duration of Increase Defence buffs on the team. This can help you meet the stage 5 and 12 requirements and is generally useful for managing buff-heavy waves. She also has a single target Stun that lasts for 2 turns if the enemy has no buffs, providing control where needed. Additionally, she can passively place Ally Protection on your most vulnerable ally and applies Strengthen and Increase Defence on herself. Overall, she’s a solid support champion who manipulates buffs and brings single target control – [It’s worth noting that her passive has a 5-turn cooldown].
HONOURABLE MENTIONS
Tayrel
He brings strong offensive support with Decrease Defence, crowd control through Sleep on enemies under Decrease Attack, and he deals reasonable damage. Additionally, his A3 can decrease a target’s Turn Meter by 50% and then place a 2-turn Stun if the Turn Meter is fully depleted, giving you additional control. He also has a handy 25% Defence aura and can place Decrease Attack on single targets.
Ambassador Lethelin
His A3 is great for stage 5, where you need to manipulate buff or debuff durations. He decreases the duration of 2 random debuffs on your allies, heals them by 5%, and a further 2.5% for each debuff that was decreased. The Taunt from his A2 helps redirect single-target hits to himself, and his Reflect Damage can also chip away at enemies. Finally, he can place Decrease Crit Rate on single targets.
Lightward siendra
Siendra is all about bringing damage to your team. She applies Increase Accuracy and Increase Crit Rate to herself before using her A3’s AOE attack, making it easier to reach the crit and accuracy requirements for her build. There are stages that require Turn Meter manipulation, and her A2 can help by stealing 15%, or 30% if it’s a critical hit, from a single target. Additionally, stacking buffs on her is ideal because she gains 2% more attack for each buff she receives, up to 30%, which boosts her damage output even further.
Neldor
If you don’t have legendaries like Shirimani or Pyxniel, the High Elves faction is actually lacking in the Freeze department for some stage requirements. This is where Neldor can come in handy, as his A1 has a 40% chance with each hit to place Freeze on a target. He pairs well with your other Freeze or Frostbite-geared champions if you’re missing stronger options. On top of that, he brings Decrease Speed to enemies, and can apply Decrease Attack and Accuracy to a single target, while dealing reasonable damage across his skills. His passive also helps counter those who place Freeze by granting a 30% chance to lead in with his default attack when he’s attacked.
