Patch 5.40.1 Notes
We’ve just received Patch 5.40, however today we’ve received a small update to go alongside the patch with some much-needed changes, along with some recent bug fixes.
There has currently been an issue with upgrading champions which was a huge problem due to the ongoing Champion Training Event for the fragment event for Gaius the Gleeful
Amongst these fixes, the changes that have come in are as follows:
Arbiter Missions:
The following arena-based missions have been adjusted:
- Advance to Gold I Tier > Advance to Silver III Tier
- Advance to Gold II Tier > Advance to Silver IV Tier
- Advance to Gold III Tier > Advance to Gold I Tier
- Advance to Gold IV Tier > Win 200 Battler on Arena (any Tier)

Champion Empowerments
With the addition of new Doom Tower Champions, we needed to find out who could empower them, although nobody will have access to them just yet, they are as follows:
Cromax Moonblood – Empwoered by Vizier Ovelis
Gronjarr – Empowered by Boragar the Elder
Ginro the Stork – Empowered by Jingwon
Nice jingwon gets useful
Advance to Gold I still exists, check part 5 mission 26th i think.
The mission changes are decent. With all the one man defenses I went from farming Silver IV to farming Gold V, and my mission problem are the great hall missions. For a player in Gold I it would take ridicoulusly long to get a great hall bonus to level 10. If Plarium fixed that, then the arbiter missions are going to require you to build a decent arena team, and nothing more. The rest will be PVE focused.
