The HH Gaming Team Reveal Their Favourite Champions!

Nearly all members of the HH Gaming crew have been playing Raid: Shadow Legends for years, but which champions do they hold in the highest regard? Is it the recent powerhouses, the first Legendary they pulled, or maybe the ones that simply look the best? In today’s article, we’ll reveal the champions they’ve chosen as their all time favourites, along with the reasons why these champions stand out to them!

HELL HADES – TEOX

Legate Teox Portrait

Hell Hades favourite champion has evolved over time. Initially, he favoured Septimus, an Enemy Max HP Nuker he used to one-shot the Spider Queen. However, as the game developed, Septimus fell out of use for his account. Now, a new powerhouse has taken the top spot – Teox, the Faction Unity Lizardmen. Teox brings incredible damage, a crazy kit, and is effective in most end-game content. He excels in some of the most powerful Hydra teams, dominates enemies in Arena, and his unity effects are Hell Hades favourite among all that have been released.

NUB RAIDS – LAZARIUS

Hierophant Lazarius Portrait

Nub Raids has chosen a powerful Mythical champion, Lazarius, not just for his appearance but for how enjoyable he is to play in both forms. Nubs appreciates how one build can be effective for both forms, or you can focus entirely on building Form 1 as a support option. He primarily uses Lazarius in Hydra, Siege, and Arena battles, where the champion brings a valuable mix of debuffs, support, and damage, while also being versatile enough to excel in most areas of the game!

PHIXION – DRACOMORPH

Phixion’s favourite champion for a long time was Mountain King, mainly because his look reminded him of the style from World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings. However, since he never managed to pull this Dwarf, he went with Dracomorph, a classic debuffer, poisoner, and single-target damage dealer. The excitement of pulling Dracomorph and the champion’s huge impact on his account, particularly in Dungeons and Clan Boss, made him the top choice. Plus, Phixion loves Dracomorph’s awesome visual design!

SAPHYRRA – WHISPER

Whisper Portrait v2

It’s no surprise who Saph picked as his favourite – he’s long been a fan of this Epic Nuker. Whisper is one of the most powerful single target damage dealers for bosses in the game, striking fear into the likes of The Phantom Shogun and The Dark Fae. Built in Relentless gear, watching her take turn after turn is a sight to behold, especially with her ability to grant extra turns through her A3 and passive. When Weaken is on the enemy, Whisper’s ability to ignore 100% of their Defence is incredible, and she also places Increase Attack and Crit Rate buffs on herself, removing the need for ally support to place them.

YST – GENZIN

YST’s favourite champion has been locked in place since the release of the Shadowkin Faction. With a masked figure already in his logo, YST was on the hunt for a champion to represent his channel, and Genzin fit the role perfectly! Genzin was also the first champion to make him participate in a Guaranteed event, and he’s been hyping up this champion ever since. He even had a custom mask designed to replicate Genzin’s, which he proudly wears during streams and videos as a token of luck when pulling shards. In game, YST primarily uses Genzin for Fire Knight Hard, Faction Wars, and fun Arena matches.

NEVA – YUMEKO

We all love a champion versatile enough for nearly every part of the game, and that’s exactly what Yumeko brings to Neva’s account. He pulled her during her release weekend with a lucky Void Shard, and later pulled a second copy, which has been a game-changer for Hydra. Yumeko’s utility shines with her ability to decrease ally cooldowns while increasing enemy cooldowns by 3 turns, deflects debuffs against bosses like Dragon and Bommal, and plays a key role in his Trunda team for pushing Clash Points. Plus, she’s one of his favourite looking champions in the game!

LADY H – MELGA

Lady H joined the HH F2P Series of 2023, and Melga quickly became the champion who carried her account. Melga’s combination of Shields, Continuous Heals, Revives, and a universal HP aura makes her a strong support champion for players, offering great utility in many areas of the game. In addition to the impact Melga had on her account, Lady H also loves the visual design of this Epic Dwarf!

LOCKERS – GOFFRED

Lockers really likes how Goffred Brassclad’s name matches his colour scheme, and his design reminds him of Nautilus from League of Legends, a character he plays frequently. While Goffred’s appearance is the main reason for Lockers’ choice, the 100% chance to Stun is strong, and he enjoys the unique passive that places Block Damage on an ally about to be killed, which makes him fun to use in Arena. Lockers is a fan of tank defensive units, so Goffred’s artistic armour and chains & skills fits this well!

CHLOE – SHAMAN

Chloe is still early in her Raid journey, but one champion she’s really enjoyed so far is Shaman! She has a soft spot for Orcs, having grown up playing games like World of Warcraft. Beyond the design, Shaman’s skills have been particularly useful given the limited champions she currently has, especially in Faction Wars with a strong defensive Aura and revives. Shaman has also been helpful for Chloe’s progression in Campaign, Arena, and Dungeons.
