You know the drill Raiders, Fusion time is upon us again…

This time we have the 2022 Halloween Fusion Event, which will be a Traditional Style Fusion Event, requiring us to gather Rare and Epic Champions and rank them up respectively to fuse the final goal, Morrigaine.

Faction: Undead Hordes (Obviously… It’s Plarium at Halloween, what else would it be)
Rarity: Legendary
Type: Support
Affinity: Magic

Spacer

Skills:

Haunt with Hesitation
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns.

Shriek of the Banshee – 4 Turn Cooldown
Has a 75% chance of stealing all buffs from a target enemy. Also has a 75%  chance of placing a [True Fear] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Will place a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns instead if the target is a boss.

Velocimancy – 5 Turn Cooldown
Has a 75% chance of decreasing the Turn Meters of all enemies by 20%. Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 20% and places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on all allies for 2 turns.

She Who is Death [P]

Is Morrigaine worth going for?

We are always asked this question, and our answer will always be the same (mostly)…

Morrigaine can be a good option for many accounts and may find some good uses especially if you’re lacking other Turn Meter control Champions such as Lyssandra or Deacon Armstrong, who have the ability to drop the enemies’ turn meter, whilst increasing your teams.

You can consider Morrigaine as a Hybrid Turn Meter manipulator. Her A3 is her key ability, reducing enemy turn meters by 20% and boosting ally turn meters by 20% alongside a 30% Increase Speed buff. This is one of the strongest single Turn Meter manipulation abilities in the game however it is on a relatively long cooldown of 4 turns. Her Hybrid role applies to the A2 and A1 where she can place debuffs and control the enemies. The A1 brings a decrease speed on a high chance of placing (but not guarenteed!) and the A2 will steal all buffs from a target then place a True Fear on all enemies. Thankfully she does Decrease Accuracy on bosses who are often immune to fear.

But our stance remains the same here, here is always to go for a fusion IF you can, as we never know what will come of these Champions in the future, even if you don’t see an immediate use for this Champion, one day you may!

What you will need to fuse Morrigaine

Champion Requirements:

Morrigaine is a Traditional Fusion event which will require 4 Rank 5 fully levelled Epic champions to fuse into Morrigaine. You will need the following epic champions:

However, to fuse these Epic Champions you will need to acquire 16 Rare Champions at rank 4 fully levelled. 4 Rares are then fused to earn 1 epic.

You will need to upgrade your Rare champions to Rank 4 and the Epic to Rank 5 and fully ascend those champions which will require food and potions.

Chicken Requirements:

  • 48x 3-Star Chickens
  • 16x 4-Star Chickens

Potion Requirements:

Affinity Lesser Greater Superior
Spirit 80 24
Magic 160 64
Arcane 80 108 12

Corresponding Events:

You will be able to take advantage of events taking place at the same time of the fusion. Typically these are Super Raids for Dungeons that take place at the same time as the tournaments. These allow you to earn twice the amount of rewards in one run (you will still need to use the same amount of energy as two runs). This should allow you to finish these much faster.

There will also be the typical x10 or x2 summoning events taking place.

Dungeon Events:

  • On Thursday, October 27th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Fire Knight’s Castle.
  • On Sunday, October 30th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Spider’s Den.
  • On Thursday, November 3rd, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Dragon’s Lair.
  • On Sunday, November 6th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Ice Golem’s Peak.

Summon Events:

  • Sacred 2x & 10x Michinaki – Starting Friday 28th October – Read more here.
  • Ancitpated 10x Event – Friday November 4th

Fusion Calendar:

For this fusion schedule, there are ONLY 16 rares available. This means you do NOT have the option to skip up to 4 events or tournaments IF you summon enough shards on the Summon Rush event to earn an epic like previous Fusions. Alternatively, you can keep a copy of the epic Orn but it would require you to skip the Fusion completely, unfortunately.

The other thing to note is that a traditional fusion allows you the opportunity to summon the champions required to make the fusion. Every rare or epic you might earn means 1 less event you need to run. So there is some flexibility depending on how the fusion goes for you. Ideal tournaments and events to skip are Dungeon Divers, Artifact Enhancements and Champion Training events as these take the most amount of resources and time compared to others.

October 27th:
Artifact Enhancement Event – Pathfinder Cait
Champion Training Event – Pathfinder Cait x2
Fire Knight Tournament – Pathfinder Cait

October 28th:
Champion Chase Tournament – Pathfinder Cait

October 29th:
Dungeon Divers Event 1 – Pathfinder Cait
Classic Arena Takedown – Pathfinder Cait

October 30th:
Spider Tournament – Pathfinder Cait

November 1st:
Artifact Enhancement Event – Pathfinder Cait

November 3rd:
Champion Training Tournament – Pathfinder Cait
Dragon Tournament – Pathfinder Cait

November 4th:
Summon Rush Event – Pathfinder Cait
Classic Arena Takedown – Pathfinder Cait

November 5th:
Dungeon Divers Event – Pathfinder Cait

November 6th:
Artifact Enhancement Event – Pathfinder Cait
Ice Golem Tournament – Pathfinder Cait

All Tournament/Event Points are calculated based on a MAX LEVEL account. These points may vary depending on your account progression and you may require significantly fewer points than displayed in our guide.

Day 1:

New Events:
Fire Knight Tournament – 2250 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait
Artifact Enhancement Event – 4000 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait
Champion Training Event – 3500 & 9350 Points – 2x Pathfinder Cait

We’re starting off this fusion with a triple event day!

To get the rare from Fire Knight,  it will take you 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.

To get this event’s rare, you’ll require 4000 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

Artifact Enhancement

1. If you pre-rolled your gear to level 7/11/15 before the event, you can go ahead and burn through your silver taking these up by 1 level each to gain quick easy points.

2. The other really good option for these events is doing a good old gear clear-out, rolling things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, selling things that you won’t want to keep, a great guide for this is here.

You’re best strategy for today is use brews as you see fit for Champion Training but save your energy on Fire Knight and Training in campaign until the weekend for the vast majority, outside of passive daily energy. This is because on Saturday there is a Dungeon Divers starting which means you can double dip your training and Fire Knight runs alongside the Divers.

HellHades has some useful tips on maximising the return on champion training. Read more about these strategies here.

Day 2:

New Events:
Champion Chase Tournament – 2500 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

It’s Sacred 2x! Time to crack open your shards for the Pathfinder Cait in this fusion event, 2500 Points is fairly standard for most fusions so nothing special to worry about here if you’ve been saving up your shards or Fragment Champions.

There is of course a Sacred 2x but also a 10x event for Michinaki, one of the new Shadowkin Champions added in this patch.

You can read our full opinion of this event here.

Day 3:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 3750 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait
Classic Arena Takedown – 390 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

For the Arena Takedown, Continue to use all daily battles, but keep an eye on the points, you may need to gem 1 or 2 refills to reach the points that you need depending on your arena tier/win rate. Of course, always aim to win as many fights as you can, don’t waste tokens for fights that you’re not sure of.

As for the Dungeon Divers Event, as mentioned on Thursday this ties into both Champion Training and the active Fire Knight Tournament, so keep going as you would regularly, whilst picking up points for this event simultaneously!

Day 4:

New Events:
Spider Tournament – 2250 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

To get your hands on the rare from Spider, it will take you 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.

Day 6:

New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event – 4000 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

To get this event’s rare, you’ll require 4000 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

Day 9:

New Events:
Dragon Tournament – 2250 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait
Champion Training Tournament – 5150 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

To get your hands on the rare from Dragon, it will take you 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.

Champion Training Tournament is a very standard point requirement in terms of typical fusions with 5150 for the rare.

Make sure you are also levelling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.

Spacer

Day 10:

New Events:
Summon Rush – 2150 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

While this is the LOWEST point requirement we’ve seen for a Summon Rush, let’s not get too excited, as unfortunately, the reasoning is that we do not have an Epic available this time.

So for those going for this, it’s time to open your shards alongside an absolute beast of a 10x event which features the following Champions:

– Nekhret the Great
– Hegemon
– Hephraak
– Zavia
– Teodor the Savant
– Madame Serris
– Husk
– Alure

Day 11:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event – 3750 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

The Dungeon Divers Event, ties into the Champion Training Tournament and the active Dragon Tournament, so keep going as you would regularly, whilst picking up points for this event simultaneously!

Day 12:

New Events:

Ice Golem Tournament – 2250 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait
Artifact Enhancement Event – 4000 Points – 1x Pathfinder Cait

To get your hands on the rare from Ice Golem, it will take you 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.

To get this event’s rare, you’ll require 4000 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

In your fusion calendar section there are remnants of the copy paste from the previous fusion, mentionning Tomoe.

Thank you as usual for the guide, I am worried that we still don’t have any event or calendar for this fusion, while the fusion is technically live and ticking down…

Re. the calendar, that is standard. Plarium usually publish the calendar around the time that the fusion starts or
a bit after, and HH take some time to post it up to the fusion guide. Its not even posted on the Plarium forum yet.

Dont worry about there not being one, it will almost definitely be one, they have done one for every fusion so far.

Good luck with the Fusion!

It is normal for the event calendar to be released a little while after the fusion has started. I don’t think they’ve ever posted it before its started.

The calendar for this fusion is horrible. Let be honest here.
1) No epic during the summon rush so we have to do all the 16 events here.
2) Champion chase immediately instead of the 2nd week. During a traditional fusion if champion chase is in the second week we can have potentially 750 “free” points fusing the 12 rares collected so far.
3) Dungeon divers postponed by 1 day so for fire knight and dragon we only have 1 day with both events instead of 2 like all the other fusions.
4) Usually champion chase is good when there is a 2x of ancient and void but is really bad when there is a 2x sacred event. 2x sacred event are way more good during a summon rush.

No. Champ chase is almost always in the start of the fusion, Maranix was an exeption.

And it’s all things considered a fairly standard fusion. All the things you’ve brought up have beeń a thing for a long while.

Morning! You mention to hold off on the fire knight tournament until tomorrow because of the dungeon divers, but that actually doesn’t start for another two days according to the calendar.

I really like that they lined up the 2x with champion chase. 2X is generally used by the lower-tier players who need lots of champions, and likewise for the champion chase. Summoners Rush and 10x are whale events,so good on them for realizing that. Also, I like that summoners rush is at the end, so it can be a fall back for people who missed something earlier.

REALLY disappointed they dont have epic on something like SR, or at least 20 available rares. This means you have to choose between an OP epic or an average legendary.

Exactly! Great way to put it OP epic or average Leggo.

What is not mentioned in the guide is the fact that today is the last day of the Forge pass and the 50% bonuses it brings, which are very good for campaign leveling. For that reason I think doing champion training today is a great strategy.

Really helpful vid on this, Hades, thanks for that! I confess as a new FTP (with the odd exception) guy, I find these fusions kinda daunting! BUT! That Orn dude looks worthwhile, so maybe try to get one of him! My Urogrim needs a mate!

She is like a baby Lyssandra ;-) Well, teen Lyssandra. 40% tota TM instead of 60, 19 SPD aura instead of 24. Not sure when I would use her since I have Lyssandra and Arbiter. With SPD, there is little benefit in being close to winning the SPD contest. You either do or don’t. With go second teams, there can be more of a contest between near equals.

I’m going for the fusion if I get something good from 2x sacreds. Otherwise I’ll just grab an orn for future FW. I beilev the fusion is good, but really rescourse intensive.

Unless you pull one of the rares or epics from shards, unfortunately no. Every event must be completed to guarantee Morrigaine. It’s a new twist that most players aren’t too happy about.

from what i can tell her aura is weak for a legendary and her A2 is bugged it dosnt always activate and just skips her turn
