We’ve caught wind of some huge patch notes that are coming to the game this month, with some questionable changes, huge content drops like this are exactly what this game needs to spice things up! Let’s get into it!
With the recent addition of skins, that’s not all we’re bringing – there will soon be the addition of mounts for your Champions, these are only summonable via shards and must match the Affinity and Faction of your desired Champion. Mounts will bring a permanent Speed boost to that Champion:
Rare – 10% Total Speed
Epic – 20% Total Speed
Legendary – 30% Total Speed
Note, these are not based on BASE Speed, but TOTAL Speed.
Tag Team Arena:
The addition of Platinum Tag Team ranks is coming, these will work similarly to the current system, however for those who finish in Platinum, will receive a weekly chest also, with exclusive Avatars. More info to come.
Due to a popular request to bring Elhain back into the Christmas Ice Rink on the Bastion, we’ve decided to remove Elhain as a starting option after she was eaten by the Dragon. As of Patch 5.4 those who started with Elhain and are less than 30 days into the game will have her swapped for Galek.
New Permanent Fusions coming, more information will be released closer to the date, however, Ninja and Aleksandr the Sharpshooter will be available as ongoing permanent fusions similar to the Rhazin Scarhide fusion.
The addition of a new affinity will be coming in this update, Light will work similar to Void, however, will Counter Void, and vice versa, both Light and Void will be strong to one another, and neutral to the rest of the affinities. These Champions will only be available via Angelic Shards. Champion Information coming closer to release.
As many of you have seen in previous teasers, the mysterious Red Shard that has been floating around is coming to the game, these are Angelic Shards, statistically, they are the same as Void Shards with rates, however, they will ONLY contain Light Champions.
Curse of Longing
Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 80% chance of placing a Sleep places for 1 turn if the target’s Turn Meter is equal to or above 50%. This debuff cannot be resisted. Heals all allies by 5% of their MAX HP if the target’s Turn Meter is below 50%. – No Longer cannot be resisted.
Multiplier increase on all abilities.
Base SPD Increased to 115, previously was 110.
Last Breath will now scale from HP rather than ATK.
Outburst will now place a 25% Weaken, rather than 15% Weaken.
Healing reduced by Cow the Wicked to 5% of MAX HP. Down from 7.5%
Orcish Rituals cooldown increased to 6 Turn Cooldown, Skill-ups remain unchanged.
From the Shadows – Passive skill reduced to 30% Increase Damage Dealt, and 30% Decrease Damage Taken – down from 40%.
Cruel Fate – Bombs Placed by this skill cannot be resisted, if placed by a Critical Hit.
Stalk Prey – Places a 50% Increase ACC buff on allies for 2 turns, then places a Hex debuff on all enemies for 2 turns. Also places a Perfect Veil buff on this Champion for 2 turns and grants an Extra Turn.
