Don’t foret to let us know your top 10 list and the team that you used in week 1 in the comment section!
1. Senna Amberheart
Senna Amberheart is by far the best support for Chimera right now. She brings a full team revive with an ally attack in case anyone dies. More importantly, she brings an insane amount of Turn Meter Boosting to her team thanks to her passive which turns Continuous Heals into turn meter. The sheer amount of turns she will give your team is simply unrivalled. Pair her up with buff extenders or other Continuous Heal champions for maximum effect.
Recommend build: 9-piece Protection
2. Lydia the Deathsiren
Lydia the Deathsiren brings an incredible amount of debuffs for the Chimera. Decrease Defence and Weaken are essential for maximum damage, and she even brings Increase Speed and Strengthen on the same move. On top of this she can Fear the Ram Form with her A1, Block Active Skills the Viper with her A3, and Block Buffs the Ultimate Form with her A3.
Recommend build: 9-piece Feral.
3. Nekmo Thaar
Nekmo Thaar has proven himself as the perfect partner for Lydia against the Chimera. He brings Decrease Attack, Decrease Speed, and Leech, which are key debuffs that Lydia is missing. On top of this he also brings a ton of Turn Meter Boosting on his A3 alongisde an Increase Speed buff for your team.
Recommend build: 9-piece Feral.
4. Androc the Glorious
Androc the Glorious is a fairly low-rated mythical champion overall, but there is no question that he shines in Chimera. He is the best partner for Senna, since he brings extra Continuous Heals alongside Buff Extension, enabling her passive to go crazy. He is one of the few Increase Resistance champs in the game, enabling you to resist the Chimera’s effects. His Increase Defence and Strengthen buffs help your champions stay alive in a Senna team, and his passive contributes to even more Turn Meter. Form 2 is mostly useless here, but can help provide Decrease Resistance for Trials.
Recommend build: 9-piece Protection.
5. Firrol the Barkhorn
Firrol the Barkhorn is top tier in Hydra and he’s proving to be top tier in Chimera as well. He combines Increase Resistance with Decrease Accuracy, letting you easily resist the Chimera’s effects. His Decrease Speed A1 is essential, and his Block Buffs and Perfect Veil are good for Trials. The big selling point here is his passive, which provides ACC and RES to your team as well as a massive 20% damage boost.
Recommend build: 9-piece Protection.
6. Opardin Clanfather
Opardin Clanfather‘s rework came at the perfect time, and has shot him up to the top 10 list for Chimera. He pairs incredibly well with Senna since he brings more Continuous Heals and doubles down with another passive turning the into Turn Meter Boosting. He also has a mini-cleanse and Block Debuffs, keeping your team safe from crowd control debuffs from the Chimera.
Recommend build: 9-piece Protection.
7. Krisk the Ageless
Krisk the Ageless is the OG GOAT so it’s no surprise to see many players bringing him against the Chimera. Krisk brings Decrease Defence, Decrease Attack, Decrease Speed, alongside Increase Speed (for everyone except himself), buff extension, and Ally Protection. The main downsides to Krisk are that his Decrease Speed A1 is only a 50% chance to land, which is unreliable, and his Ally Protection buffs can be stolen by the Viper and easily get him killed.
Recommend build: 9-piece Feral.
8. Starsage Galathir
Starsage Galathir is a menace in the arena and it’s great to see him come over to excell against a boss as well for players lucky enough to own him. He is the best alternative to Senna, bringing a full team revive, healing, cleansing, Block Debuffs, and lots of Turn Meter Boosting. He can even flip to Form 2 for some debuffs for Trials such as Decrease Resistance.
Recommend build: 4-piece Relentless.
9. Elva Autumnbloom
Elva Autumnborn is the best budget alternative to Senna, being a regular legendary and a former guaranteed champion. She brings a Speed Aura, Increase Speed, Block Debuffs, a cleanse, Continuous Heals, and a single-target revive.
Recommend build: 9-piece Protection.
10. Hierophant Lazarius
Hierophant Lazarius is the boldest pick for the top 10, but his spot in Legate Teox teams makes his placement justified for now. Lazarius brings buff removal, Block Debuffs, Increase Attack, Strengthen, Shields, Turn Meter Boosting and a revive on his passive. As a Lizardman, he can help Teox teams fill out their Faction Unity requirements and combos well with Nekmo Thaar whose Leech debuffs compensates for the lack of healing on Lazarius.
Recommend build: 9-piece Protection.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Oella: Increase Resistance, Healing, Continuous Heals, Decrease Speed, and buff extension.
Gwyndolin the Silent: Decrease Speed, Decrease Accuracy and Leech, plus Increase Accuracy and debuff extension.
Riho Bonespear: HP Burn, Decrease Defence, Weaken, Decrease Attack, Decrease Crit Rate, Block Debuffs, Cleanse, Healing and Continuous Heals.
Ramantu Drakesblood: Decrease Defence, Weaken, Decrease Speed, Block Buffs, and damage.
Siphi the Lost Bride: Block Debuffs, Increase Defence, Increase Speed, Healing, and a revive.
Duchess Lilitu: Block Debuffs, Increase Attack, Perfect Veil, Shield, and a team revive.
So, what I am getting out of this is , like hydra, if uou aren’t lego heavy, don’t bother!
The article is titled, ‘Top Ten Supports’. They never said that these were your only options….
umm have you tried hydra with anything less than legedaries? this is ment to difficult and specific champ heavy. least you can reuse teams per key
Well, at least I have Elva smh
Rakku is not mentioned? she’s def underrated here, she’s a better option than opardin. put her in a 9 piece prot set. can res team, clean debuffs, atk up, shield and boost turn meter with passive with and heals
Nobody speaks about Odin ? He’s really underated on Chimera (max hp damage, double remove buff, spread buff, dec def)
