SECRET ROOM 11 – NORMAL Guide

spacer

This secret room requires you to use Void Champions only. Lets break down how to approach this challenge!

Enemy Waves

Below are the waves you will face in the secret room including the stats – generally secret room enemies are much slower than other aspects of Doom Tower. You should pay special attention to the following problematic champions:

  1. Cruetraxa – Cruetraxa can cause problems due to her insanely high Single Target Damage, and the fact that she has Revive on Death, meaning there is a chance she will be able to come back and take out another Champion or two.
  2. Arbiter – Arbiter is only a threat due to her Revive, which may mean you end up having to kill wave 2 twice, ideally you’ll want to keep her controlled or killed quickly to prevent this.
  3. Umbral Enchantress/Gurgoh/Soulless/Angar – These 4 Champions have the ability to control your entire team, with either Provoke or Freeze, bringing a way to deal with this whether it be Block Debuffs, or a cleanse, or control of your own will be key.
  4. Turvold – Just like Cruetraxa, Turvold can hit incredibly hard on a single-target.

How to beat the secret room!

spacer

Below is the recommend team that is best fit to beat this room. We also detail alternatives for each champion if you do not have them. It is worth noting alternatives are fine replacements but will be less efficient i.e. potentially make the run slower or require you to run a few times to get good RNG.

Wave 1: On this wave, your main threat will come from Cruetraxa‘s damage output, due to the fact that the Seers will struggle to get their buffs before you will kill them, take them out after Cruetraxa, before focusing on Lydia and Venus.

Wave 2: On the second wave, you will want to handle the Umbral Enchantress first, whether that be by controlling it, or killing it – and then move on to Arbiter (also either kill or control) to prevent her from reviving the rest of the enemies.

Wave 3: Wave 3 is all about control from the enemies, with Gurgoh, Soulless and Angar all being able to control your team, whilst Turvold and Cruetraxa are the primary threats in terms of damage, pick these two off quickly and you’ll be set!

MVPs for this Strategy

Arbiter – Of course with Arbiter being a free Champion who is able to revive, and boost your damage – she’s got to feature in the MVP list!

Madame Serris – Many of the enemies in this stage bring a large number of buffs, so having a Champion capable of buff stripping is massive, as well as bringing Decrease DEF to deal with the tanky enemies that you’ll encounter in this Secret Room.

Bellower – Bellower is a crowd favourite, especially in the early game, as he can either be used as a fast, control-based Champion in a Stun-Set, with his triple AOE hits, or as a Damage Dealer, in this content however, a Stun-Set Bellower will be your best friend!
